The special advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of the Association for Disabled Children, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, along with his accompanying delegation, visited today the headquarters of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Riyadh. He was received by the advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, along with several leaders of the Center.

Prince Sultan bin Salman, accompanied by Dr. Al-Rabeeah, toured the permanent exhibition held in the lobby of the Center, which included an interactive map that allows visitors to know the countries benefiting from the Center's projects, as well as audio-visual displays of impactful humanitarian stories, a screen showcasing the Center's volunteer programs, and a corner for visitors to write humanitarian messages. Additionally, the exhibition featured virtual reality glasses that allow visitors to virtually experience the daily lives of refugees and displaced persons.

Following that, he visited the offices of the Center's partners from international organizations and agencies, listening to explanations from the representatives of the organizations about the nature of their joint work with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

Then, Prince Sultan bin Salman held a meeting with Dr. Al-Rabeeah, during which they discussed matters of mutual interest related to humanitarian and relief affairs.

A visual presentation was made regarding the Center's projects and programs, of which 3,632 projects have been implemented so far in 108 countries around the world, with a value exceeding 8 billion US dollars, covering various vital sectors, in cooperation with 328 international, regional, and local partners. This also includes the Center's specialized programs, such as the rehabilitation project for child soldiers, the "Masam" project for clearing landmines in Yemen, and the prosthetic limb installation project, in addition to the volunteer programs that reached 997 educational, training, and medical programs implemented in 55 countries, benefiting more than 2 million and 301 thousand individuals, through which over 237 thousand surgical operations were performed, as well as the Saudi program for separating conjoined twins.

Prince Sultan bin Salman expressed his deep appreciation for the exceptional efforts being made by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, valuing its effective contributions to enhancing humanitarian work and achieving a tangible impact on the lives of beneficiaries, which directly contributes to improving the lives of the most needy groups and reflects a model to be emulated in the field of charitable work.

He indicated that the Kingdom has a legacy of generosity everywhere and global models, with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center being one of the most prominent global examples. He pointed out that the Kingdom is moving forward with steadfast steps centered around humanity and human welfare, in harmony with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, which prioritizes people first, then place second, and achievements third.

For his part, Dr. Al-Rabeeah stated that his visit reaffirms the Center's leadership role in the field of humanitarian and relief work at both the regional and international levels, noting that since its establishment ten years ago, the Center has achieved major successes and consecutive accomplishments, thanks to God Almighty and the generous support it receives from the wise leadership.
