رفع وزير الصحة فهد بن عبدالرحمن الجلاجل، الشكر والامتنان إلى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، على تبرعه الكريم بالدم، ودعمه غير المحدود للعمل الإنساني بإطلاق «حملة ولي العهد للتبرع بالدم» التي ستقام سنوياً، في مبادرة تجسد التزاماً راسخاً بتعزيز ثقافة العطاء والتكافل المجتمعي، ورفع نسبة التبرع الطوعي إلى 100% من إجمالي المتبرعين، بما يسهم في استدامة إمدادات الدم ودعم القطاع الصحي.
وأوضح أن هذه المبادرة تأتي امتداداً للمبادرات الإنسانية للقيادة ومنها تلقي لقاح فايروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) والتسجيل في برنامج التبرع بالأعضاء، مما يعكس نهجاً راسخاً في رعاية صحة الإنسان والارتقاء بجودة الحياة، مؤكداً أن مبادرة ولي العهد تمثل نموذجاً مُلهماً في دعم الجهود الوطنية لترسيخ مفاهيم العمل التطوعي الصحي، والإسهام في توفير الدم ومكوناته للمرضى في مختلف مناطق المملكة، وتعزيز جودة الخدمات الصحية، ورفع كفاءة القطاع الطبي، وتلبية احتياجات بنوك الدم، انسجاماً مع مستهدفات برنامج تحول القطاع الصحي ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030 لبناء مجتمع حيوي يتمتع أفراده بحياة صحية متكاملة.
ودعا وزير الصحة جميع أفراد المجتمع إلى المبادرة بالتبرع بالدم انطلاقاً من مسؤوليتهم المجتمعية، ودورهم الفاعل في دعم المنظومة الصحية، مبيناً أن التبرع بالدم يُعد من أسمى صور العطاء الإنساني التي تسهم في إنقاذ حياة المرضى والمصابين، وتوفير رعاية صحية متكاملة، فضلاً عن تعزيز كفاءة المنظومة الصحية في تقديم خدمات عالية الجودة لجميع أفراد المجتمع.
Health Minister Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for his generous blood donation and his unlimited support for humanitarian work by launching the "Crown Prince Blood Donation Campaign," which will be held annually. This initiative embodies a firm commitment to enhancing the culture of giving and community solidarity, aiming to raise the percentage of voluntary donations to 100% of the total donors, contributing to the sustainability of blood supplies and supporting the health sector.
He explained that this initiative is an extension of the leadership's humanitarian initiatives, including receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and registering for the organ donation program, reflecting a steadfast approach to caring for human health and improving quality of life. He emphasized that the Crown Prince's initiative represents an inspiring model in supporting national efforts to establish the concepts of health volunteerism, contributing to the provision of blood and its components for patients in various regions of the Kingdom, enhancing the quality of health services, improving the efficiency of the medical sector, and meeting the needs of blood banks, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to build a vibrant community where individuals enjoy a comprehensive healthy life.
The Health Minister called on all members of the community to take the initiative to donate blood, stemming from their social responsibility and their active role in supporting the health system. He pointed out that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of human giving that contributes to saving the lives of patients and the injured, providing comprehensive healthcare, as well as enhancing the efficiency of the health system in delivering high-quality services to all members of the community.
