جرى اتصال هاتفي اليوم بين ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ورئيس روسيا الاتحادية الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين.
وفي بداية الاتصال، أطلع الرئيس الروسي، ولي العهد، على نتائج المحادثات الأخيرة التي جمعته بالرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، مجدداً شكره وتقديره لموقف المملكة الثابت ولمساعي ولي العهد البناءة لإحلال السلام. فيما أكد ولي العهد -حفظه الله- دعم المملكة المستمر لمسار الحوار الدبلوماسي كسبيل لحل الخلافات الدولية.
كما تم خلال الاتصال بحث مجالات التعاون القائمة بين المملكة وروسيا في عدد من المجالات وفرص تعزيزها.
A phone call took place today between Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the call, the Russian president briefed the Crown Prince on the results of his recent talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, reiterating his gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom's steadfast position and the Crown Prince's constructive efforts to achieve peace. The Crown Prince - may God protect him - affirmed the Kingdom's ongoing support for the diplomatic dialogue as a means to resolve international disputes.
During the call, the existing areas of cooperation between the Kingdom and Russia in several fields and opportunities to enhance them were also discussed.
