The General Director of Education in the Riyadh region, Dr. Naif bin Abed Al-Zari, confirmed that the new academic year will be a year of excellence and discipline, pointing out that the upcoming phase requires working with determination and ambition to build a conscious and capable generation that contributes to the nation's renaissance and fulfills the aspirations of its leadership. He emphasized, during his welcome to the return of supervisors, school principals, teachers, and his colleagues in the administrative staff, the importance of the role of educational and administrative staff in instilling values and achieving the message of education, calling for increased efforts and dedication to serve the sons and daughters of the nation, which contributes to building a bright future.

Al-Zari indicated that the Ministry of Education is confidently moving towards achieving the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by creating a stimulating educational environment that unleashes potential and opens avenues for creativity. He noted that the role of the educational field is to actively contribute to the educational process, renew learning methods, and enhance performance efficiency to achieve high levels of excellence.

On another note, the General Administration of Education in the Riyadh region has approved the summer working hours for all schools for the academic year 1447 - 1448, starting at 6:15 AM for assembly and 6:30 AM for the first class, while the winter working hours will start at 6:45 AM for assembly and 7:00 AM for the first class. During the blessed month of Ramadan, the first class will start at 9:00 AM.
