بينما تحتفل الهند بيوم استقلالها التاسع والسبعين في 15 أغسطس 2025، تُعدّ هذه المناسبة فرصة للتأمل في تضحيات مناضلينا من أجل الحرية وفي المسيرة الاستثنائية لأمة ارتقت لتصبح قوة عالمية.
ويتجلى تقدم الهند اليوم في ريادتها في مجالات متطورة مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي والحوكمة الرقمية واستكشاف الفضاء، لقد أدى النجاح الأخير الذي حققته مهمة الفضاء المأهولة غاغانيان إلى وضع الهند بين مجموعة النخبة من الدول القادرة على رحلات الفضاء البشرية.
وفي الوقت نفسه تواصل البنية التحتية الرقمية في الهند إحداث نقلة نوعية في حياة الناس من خلال تحسين الوصول إلى الرعاية الصحية والتعليم والخدمات الحكومية مما يُمكّن الملايين.
ولا تزال الإدارة البيئية حجر الزاوية في أجندة التنمية الهندية. وتُجسّد مبادرة «لايف» (أسلوب حياة من أجل البيئة) الطموحة التزام الهند بمعيشة مستدامة وحشد المواطنين حول العالم نحو ممارسات صديقة للبيئة.
ويتزامن هذا مع نمو سريع في قطاع الطاقة المتجددة مع قيام الهند بتوسيع قدرتها في مجال الطاقة الشمسية وطاقة الرياح لتحقيق هدفها الطموح المتمثل في تحقيق انبعاثات صفرية صافية.
ويعتمد اقتصاد الهند، وهو أحد أسرع الاقتصادات نمواً على مستوى العالم على الابتكار وريادة الأعمال، وقد أتاحت مبادرات مثل «صنع في الهند» و«الهند الرقمية» فرصا هائلة وجذبت الاستثمارات الأجنبية ورسّخت مكانة الهند كلاعب حاسم في سلسلة التوريد العالمية.
وتستمر الشراكة التاريخية الراسخة بين الهند والمملكة العربية السعودية في الازدهار. وتمتد هذه العلاقة المتعددة الأوجه من قطاعات الطاقة والتجارة إلى التعليم والثقافة وترتكز على الاحترام المتبادل والتطلعات المشتركة نحو السلام والازدهار.
وتشكّل الجالية الهندية في المملكة العربية السعودية التي يبلغ عددها أكثر من 2.7 مليون نسمة جسراً حيوياً بين البلدين، ومساهماتهم في تنمية المملكة وثقافتها ومجتمعها تعزز نسيج هذه الدولة الصديقة، ونحن ممتنون لكرم ضيافة المملكة ودعمها الثابت.
وفي هذه المناسبة نعرب أيضاً عن تقديرنا للمملكة العربية السعودية لتسهيل أداء الحج الآمن والمثري روحياً للحجاج الهنود خلال موسم الحج 1446هـ.
ومع اقتراب الهند من الذكرى الثمانين من الاستقلال فإن روح التعاون والشراكة بين الهند والمملكة العربية السعودية من المتوقع أن تصل إلى مستويات أعلى معا، وسنواصل العمل نحو تحقيق الأهداف المشتركة في الابتكار والاستدامة والرخاء الشامل.
وفي يوم الاستقلال هذا، لا نحتفل فقط بإرث ماضينا بل نحتفل أيضاً بوعد مستقبلنا، مستقبل مرسوم بالمرونة والتقدّم وروابط الصداقة الدائمة.

At the same time, India's digital infrastructure continues to transform people's lives by improving access to healthcare, education, and government services, empowering millions.
Environmental management remains a cornerstone of India's development agenda. The ambitious "LIFE" (Lifestyle for Environment) initiative embodies India's commitment to sustainable living and mobilizes citizens worldwide towards eco-friendly practices.
This coincides with rapid growth in the renewable energy sector, as India expands its capacity in solar and wind energy to achieve its ambitious goal of net-zero emissions.
India's economy, one of the fastest-growing in the world, relies on innovation and entrepreneurship. Initiatives like "Make in India" and "Digital India" have created immense opportunities, attracted foreign investments, and solidified India's position as a crucial player in the global supply chain.
The longstanding historical partnership between India and Saudi Arabia continues to thrive. This multifaceted relationship spans energy, trade, education, and culture, grounded in mutual respect and shared aspirations for peace and prosperity.
The Indian community in Saudi Arabia, numbering over 2.7 million, serves as a vital bridge between the two countries, and their contributions to the development, culture, and society of the Kingdom enhance the fabric of this friendly nation. We are grateful for the Kingdom's hospitality and unwavering support.
