تشهد الشرقية اليوم (الأحد) هبوب رياحٍ نشطةٍ على المنطقة تشمل مدينة الدمام، الظهران، محافظات حفر الباطن، الخفجي، قرية العليا، النعيرية، الجبيل، رأس تنورة، القطيف، الخبر، بقيق، الأحساء، والعديد؛ مما يتسبب في إثارة الأتربة، وشبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية (3-5) كلم في الطرق السريعة والمناطق المفتوحة، وستستمر الحالة حتى 8 مساء.
وفي الباحة تشهد المنطقة حتى الثامنة مساءً رياحاً نشطة، وتدنّياً في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، وصواعق رعدية، على مدينة الباحة، ومحافظات العقيق، بلجرشي، القرى، بني حسن، المندق، المخواة، قلوة، الحجرة، وغامد الزناد، والأجزاء المجاورة لها.
ونبَّه المركز الوطني للأرصاد من هبوب رياح شديدة على منطقة حائل تشمل المناطق المفتوحة والطرق السريعة؛ تؤدي إلى تدنٍّ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، ورياحٍ تصل سرعتها (40-49) كم/ساعة وبيَّن المركز أن الحالة تستمر حتى السابعة مساءً.
وكان المركز الوطني للأرصاد قد توقع في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم، طقساً بارداً إلى شديد البرودة مع فرصة تكون الصقيع خلال ساعات الصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الشمالية من المملكة، في حين يستمر التوقع بهطول أمطار متفرقة وتكوّن الضباب على أجزاء من مرتفعات مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة ومكة المكرمة تمتد إلى أجزاء من منطقتي الرياض والشرقية ولا يزال تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق كذلك على الأجزاء الساحلية من منطقتي تبوك والمدينة المنورة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 21-42 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The Eastern Province is witnessing today (Sunday) active winds in the region, including the cities of Dammam, Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Qaryah Al-Ulya, Al-Nairiyah, Al-Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al-Qatif, Al-Khobar, Buqayq, Al-Ahsa, and many others; which is causing dust storms and near-zero visibility (3-5) km on highways and open areas, and this condition will continue until 8 PM.
In Al-Baha, the region is experiencing active winds until 8 PM, reduced visibility, and thunderstorms in the city of Al-Baha, and the governorates of Al-Aqiq, Baljurashi, Al-Qura, Bani Hassan, Al-Mandaq, Al-Mukhwah, Qalwa, Al-Hajrah, and Ghamid Al-Zanad, as well as the neighboring areas.
The National Center of Meteorology has warned of strong winds in the Hail region, including open areas and highways; leading to reduced visibility, with winds reaching speeds of (40-49) km/h, and the center indicated that this condition will last until 7 PM.
The National Center of Meteorology had predicted in its weather report today cold to very cold weather with a chance of frost formation during the early morning hours in the northern parts of the Kingdom, while the expectation of scattered rain and fog formation continues in parts of the highlands of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah, extending to parts of the Riyadh and Eastern regions. The effects of active winds causing dust and sandstorms are still present in parts of those regions as well as in the coastal areas of the Tabuk and Madinah regions.
The report indicated that the surface winds on the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 21-42 km/h, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters, and the sea condition is light to moderate waves.
