زار نائب وزير البلديات والإسكان إيهاب بن غازي حشاني اليوم (الخميس) مركز إدارة عمليات المدينة الذكية بأمانة المنطقة الشرقية، الذي يمثل نقلة نوعية في إدارة وتشغيل الخدمات البلدية بالمنطقة، واطلع خلال جولته على أقسام المركز وإداراته وما يحتويه من تقنيات متقدمة.
وخلال الزيارة، دشّن حشاني الإصدار الجديد من خدمات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS 2.0) بأمانة المنطقة الشرقية، الذي يتضمن حزمة من التحديثات التطويرية والأدوات التفاعلية بالمستكشف الجغرافي، إلى جانب إطلاق الإصدار الجديد من تطبيق «مدينتي» للأجهزة الذكية، وتدشين المؤشرات والبيانات الجغرافية المطوّرة. كما تم استعراض الرؤية المستقبلية لتوظيف تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في إدارة البيانات الجيومكانية (GIS AI) والمنظومة الحضرية (Planning AI)، بهدف تعزيز جودة الخدمات البلدية وتحقيق رضا المستفيدين، بما يتماشى مع خطط التحول الرقمي وأهداف رؤية السعودية 2030.
كما اطلع نائب الوزير على البوابة الجغرافية لأمانة المنطقة الشرقية، التي توفر 15 خدمة إلكترونية مطبقة وفق أفضل الممارسات العالمية في مجال نظم المعلومات الجغرافية، حيث أسهمت في إنجاز أكثر من 100 ألف معاملة إلكترونية تخدم القطاع البلدي، شملت خدمات مثل: الفرز الإلكتروني، اعتماد المخططات، الكروكي المساحي، وتراخيص المشاريع الخدمية.
The Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Ihab bin Ghazi Hashani, visited today (Thursday) the Smart City Operations Management Center at the Eastern Province Municipality, which represents a qualitative leap in managing and operating municipal services in the region. During his tour, he was briefed on the center's departments and administrations and the advanced technologies it contains.
During the visit, Hashani launched the new version of Geographic Information Systems (GIS 2.0) services at the Eastern Province Municipality, which includes a package of developmental updates and interactive tools in the geographic explorer, in addition to the launch of the new version of the "My City" application for smart devices, and the introduction of developed geographic indicators and data. The future vision for employing artificial intelligence technologies in managing geospatial data (GIS AI) and the urban system (Planning AI) was also presented, aiming to enhance the quality of municipal services and achieve beneficiary satisfaction, in line with digital transformation plans and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Deputy Minister also reviewed the geographic portal of the Eastern Province Municipality, which provides 15 electronic services implemented according to the best global practices in the field of geographic information systems. This has contributed to completing more than 100,000 electronic transactions serving the municipal sector, including services such as: electronic sorting, plan approval, surveying sketches, and service project licenses.
