عبدالعزيز بن سعود يقف على سير العمل في قيادة القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي

Today, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inspected the progress of work at the Special Forces for Environmental Security in Riyadh.

During the inspection visit, he listened to an explanation provided by the Commander of the Special Forces for Environmental Security, Major General Saher bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, about the technical systems that include drones and thermal cameras used to support the tasks of field patrols and their operational mechanisms.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud was briefed on the control center and technical systems, as well as the security analysis center that is concerned with monitoring and analyzing environmental violations across all platforms, using the latest software tools and technologies.

He reviewed the operational plans and executive programs aimed at protecting and preserving the environment, as well as the developmental projects and advanced technologies adopted to enhance the capabilities of the forces in effectively carrying out their tasks.

During the visit, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud inaugurated the "Media Center," which contains several sections dedicated to documentation and all media production.

At the end of the visit, he met with the leaders of the Environmental Security Forces in various regions of the Kingdom via video conference and delivered a speech in which he appreciated their active role in the context of the forces' missions, in line with the kind directives from the leadership - may God protect it - which closely monitors all that the sector does to preserve the environment in the Kingdom and enhance its sustainability, directing them to continue the efforts made to protect the environment and its natural resources, while expressing his gratitude to the personnel of the forces for their outstanding efforts.

Accompanying him during the visit were the Acting Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, Mohammed bin Mahna Al-Mahna, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Military Affairs, Major General Dr. Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Maiman, the Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research, Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arawan, and the Director of the General Administration of Media and Institutional Communication, Brigadier General Talal bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Shalhoub.
