أكدت الجمعية الفلكية بجدة رصد القمر البدر لشهر صفر في سماء الوطن العربي السبت القادم، وذلك عند الساعة 10:55 صباحا بتوقيت السعودية، في منظر بديع يُزين السماء.
وأوضحت الجمعية أن لحظة البدر هذا الشهر ستحدث في وضح النهار، إلا أن القمر سيبدو مكتملا تماما للعين المجردة طوال ليلتي الجمعة والسبت 8 و 9 أغسطس، إذ يكون مضاء بنسبة تقارب (99%) قبل وبعد لحظة الاكتمال، وذلك بسبب التغير البطيء في أطواره الظاهرية، مبينة أن القمر سيشرق من الأفق الجنوبي الشرقي عقب غروب الشمس، ويواصل صعوده خلال الليل، ليصل إلى أعلى نقطة في السماء بعد منتصف الليل، ثم يبدأ في الانحدار نحو الأفق الجنوبي الغربي، حيث يغيب مع بزوغ شمس اليوم التالي.
وبيّنت الجمعية أن السماء ستشهد خلال الأيام القادمة عدة ظواهر فلكية مميزة، أبرزها اكتمال القمر، واقتران نادر بين كوكبي الزهرة والمشتري، إلى جانب ذروة زخة شهب البرشاويات.
The Astronomical Society in Jeddah confirmed the observation of the full moon for the month of Safar in the skies of the Arab world next Saturday, at 10:55 AM Saudi time, in a beautiful sight that adorns the sky.
The society explained that the moment of the full moon this month will occur during the day, but the moon will appear completely full to the naked eye throughout the nights of Friday and Saturday, August 8 and 9, as it will be illuminated at about (99%) before and after the moment of fullness, due to the slow change in its apparent phases. It indicated that the moon will rise from the southeastern horizon after sunset and will continue to ascend throughout the night, reaching its highest point in the sky after midnight, then beginning to descend toward the southwestern horizon, where it will set with the dawn of the following day.
The society noted that the sky will witness several distinctive astronomical phenomena in the coming days, most notably the full moon, a rare conjunction between the planets Venus and Jupiter, along with the peak of the Perseid meteor shower.
