نفّذ مكتب وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمحافظة جدة، ممثلاً بقسم الزراعة، جولة ميدانية في سوق الخضار والفواكه المركزي، سُحب خلالها 92 عينة عشوائية من الخضار والفواكه لتحليلها والتأكد من سلامتها؛ وذلك للتحقق من مستويات بقايا المبيدات وضمان مطابقتها للحدود المسموح بها وفقاً للأنظمة واللوائح المعتمدة.
وأوضح المكتب أن هذه الجولة تندرج ضمن الجهود المتواصلة لتعزيز منظومة الأمن الغذائي المحلي، مؤكداً أن نتائج تحاليل العينات تمثل مؤشراً مهماً لمدى التزام الموردين والمزارعين بتطبيق المعايير البيئية والصحية في العمليات الزراعية، مما ينعكس إيجاباً على جودة المنتجات وثقة المستهلك بها.
يُذكر أن مكاتب وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة تنفذ جولات ميدانية بشكل دوري وبدعم من الإدارات المختصة، تعزيزاً لمفهوم الزراعة الآمنة وضمان حماية المستهلك، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات الوزارة.
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture office in Jeddah, represented by the Agriculture Department, conducted a field tour at the central fruits and vegetables market, during which 92 random samples of fruits and vegetables were collected for analysis to ensure their safety; this was done to verify pesticide residue levels and ensure compliance with the permissible limits according to the approved regulations and guidelines.
The office clarified that this tour is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the local food security system, emphasizing that the results of the sample analyses are an important indicator of the extent to which suppliers and farmers adhere to environmental and health standards in agricultural operations, which positively reflects on the quality of products and consumer confidence in them.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture offices conduct field tours periodically, supported by the relevant departments, to promote the concept of safe agriculture and ensure consumer protection, in line with the ministry's objectives.
