التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في مقر الأمم المتحدة بمدينة نيويورك، اليوم، وزير خارجية جمهورية البرتغال باولو رانجيل، على هامش المؤتمر الدولي رفيع المستوى حول التسوية السلمية للقضية الفلسطينية، وتنفيذ حل الدولتين على المستوى الوزاري، الذي ترأسه المملكة بالشراكة مع جمهورية فرنسا.
وجرى خلال اللقاء، بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وسبل دعمها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات، إضافة إلى بحث تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية، والجهود الدولية الرامية إلى إيقاف الحرب وإنهاء المعاناة الإنسانية في القطاع.
حضرت اللقاء سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, met today at the United Nations headquarters in New York with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Portugal, Paulo Rangel, on the sidelines of the high-level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution at the ministerial level, which was chaired by the Kingdom in partnership with the French Republic.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the international efforts aimed at stopping the war and ending the humanitarian suffering in the region.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan.
