After the National Unified Admission Platform (Qabul) officially announced the names of the accepted students for the study seats in public universities and technical and vocational training colleges for the new academic year, the platform will start offering additional opportunities from today (Thursday) for those who were not accepted at all or who were accepted into programs that were not their first choice.

The Ministry of Education indicated that the additional opportunities represent the fourth and final phase of the platform's operations. During this phase, students will receive notifications if higher opportunities become available to them, and they will have one of two options: either confirm the new acceptance or choose "I do not wish to accept and will wait for a better opportunity" during the specified period for additional opportunities. It pointed out that additional opportunities are granted according to the order of preferences previously entered by applicants, and those who were not accepted in any of their choices and received a message indicating that there is no available seat must continue to monitor the platform during the additional opportunities period, as new preferences may become available based on the vacant seats resulting from some applicants withdrawing.
