استقبل الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى، في مكتبه بمكة المكرمة رئيس مركز الحضارة الإسلامية بمجلس الوزراء بجمهورية أوزبكستان الدكتور فردوس فريدونوفيتش عبد خالقوف، والوفد المرافق له.
ونوّه العيسى، بأهميّة المركز في إبراز الحضارة الإسلامية، لاسيّما في مواجهة المفاهيم الخاطئة والظواهر السلبيّة.
من جانبه، عبّر مدير المركز، بِاسم جمهورية أوزبكستان، عن اعتزازه وفخره بجهود رابطة العالم الإسلامي في الداخل الإسلامي، والمكانة والحفاوة الدولية اللتين تَحظى بهما، منوّهاً بخطاب الأمين العام في تمثيله للشعوب الإسلامية، في أول احتفاءٍ أُممي باليوم الدولي لمكافحة كراهية الإسلام، وذلك بمقرّ الأمم المتحدة، بدعوة من جمعيّتها العامة.

The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Issa, received in his office in Mecca the Head of the Islamic Civilization Center at the Cabinet of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Dr. Firdavs Firdunovich Abd Khalikov, along with his accompanying delegation.
Al-Issa emphasized the importance of the center in highlighting Islamic civilization, especially in confronting misconceptions and negative phenomena.
For his part, the director of the center, on behalf of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed his pride and honor in the efforts of the Muslim World League within the Islamic community, as well as the international standing and hospitality it enjoys, noting the Secretary-General's speech representing Islamic peoples during the first global celebration of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, held at the United Nations headquarters, at the invitation of its General Assembly.
