شهدت ورشة عمل دعم مزارعي البُن التي نظمها فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة مساء أمس بمنطقة عسير، تفاعل أكثر من 100 مزارع للبُن. وكانت الورشة التي عقدت بناء على توجيه نائب أمير منطقة عسير الأمير خالد بن سطام بن سعود، وحضرها 9 إدارات حكومية ذات علاقة، وناقش المزارعون في مداخلاتهم التي استمرت زهاء 3 ساعات عددا من المشاكل التي يعانون منها، من ضمنها الطرق والمياه والكهرباء كتحديات حقيقية، إضافة إلى اقتراحات أخرى من بينها مهرجانات تخص البن، وتطوير أساليب الوقاية والترشيد، والتسويق، كما شارك ممثلو الإدارات الحكومية بآرائهم وملاحظاتهم بشأن ماطرح من قبل المزارعين. وأكد مدير فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة عسير المهندس أحمد آل مجثل، على أهمية الورشة، والاستماع للتحديات التي يواجهها المزارعون، وأشار إلى أن تعليمات أمير منطقة عسير ونائبه، ووزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة ونائبه، واضحة وصريحة لخدمة المزارعين، وتذليل كافة المصاعب أمامهم. وأضاف، سنعمل على دراسة كافة التحديات والصعوبات التي طرحت، وسيتم الرفع بها رسمياً وفق التوجيهات، واطلاع كل مزارع على ذلك.
The workshop supporting coffee farmers organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture branch last night in the Asir region witnessed the participation of more than 100 coffee farmers. The workshop, held based on the directives of the Deputy Emir of Asir Region, Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud, was attended by 9 relevant government departments. During their discussions, which lasted about 3 hours, the farmers addressed several issues they face, including roads, water, and electricity as real challenges. They also proposed other suggestions, including festivals related to coffee, developing prevention and rationalization methods, and marketing. Representatives from government departments shared their opinions and observations regarding what was raised by the farmers. The Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture branch in Asir, Engineer Ahmed Al-Mujthal, emphasized the importance of the workshop and listening to the challenges faced by farmers. He pointed out that the instructions from the Emir of Asir Region and his deputy, as well as the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and his deputy, are clear and explicit in serving farmers and overcoming all difficulties they encounter. He added, "We will work on studying all the challenges and difficulties raised, and they will be officially submitted according to the directives, and every farmer will be informed about that."
