أطلقت النيابة العامة بالشراكة مع عدد من الجهات الحكومية، الحملة التوعوية (#مبادرتك_تعفيك)، بهدف رفع الوعي المجتمعي بالأنظمة التي تنص على إعفاء من يبادر بالإبلاغ عن الجريمة من العقوبات المقررة وفق الضوابط النظامية، وذلك تشجيعًا لاتخاذ خطوة المبادرة.
وتأتي انطلاقة حملة مبادرتك تعفيك للتوعية بمخاطر المخدرات، وتسليط الضوء على الأنظمة التي تكفل الإعفاء من العقوبة لمن يبادر من الجناة بالإبلاغ عن جريمة المخدرات أو يطلب العلاج طوعًا.
وتهدف الحملة إلى إبراز أهمية اتخاذ خطوة المبادرة نحو طلب العلاج أو الإبلاغ عن الجرائم المرتبطة بذلك، استنادًا إلى المواد النظامية في نظام المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية التي تتيح فرصة الإعفاء من العقوبات في مثل هذه الحالات، مما يعزز مصلحة الفرد، ويدعم استقرار المجتمع، ويُسهم في تقليل معدلات الجريمة.
وتأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار جهود النيابة العامة في نشر الثقافة النظامية، وتحقيق التكامل مع الجهات المختصة، ضمن رؤية وطنية شاملة تهدف إلى الحد من انتشار المخدرات وبناء مجتمع واعٍ ومحصن ضد مخاطرها.
يذكر بأن الحملة التي أطلقتها النيابة العامة تأتي تزامناً مع احتفاء المجتمع الدولي باليوم العالمي لمكافحة المخدرات في السادس والعشرين من يونيو من كل عام، وتأكيدًا لأهمية تكاتف الجهود الدولية في التصدي لآفة المخدرات والحد من آثارها المدمرة على الأفراد والمجتمعات.
The Public Prosecution, in partnership with several government entities, launched the awareness campaign (#YourInitiativeExemptsYou), aimed at raising community awareness about the regulations that exempt those who report a crime from the penalties prescribed according to the regulatory controls, encouraging the step of initiative.
The launch of the "Your Initiative Exempts You" campaign comes to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and to highlight the regulations that guarantee exemption from punishment for those offenders who report a drug crime or voluntarily seek treatment.
The campaign aims to emphasize the importance of taking the initiative to seek treatment or report crimes related to it, based on the regulatory provisions in the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law that allow for the opportunity of exemption from penalties in such cases, thereby enhancing the individual's interest, supporting community stability, and contributing to the reduction of crime rates.
This initiative is part of the Public Prosecution's efforts to promote regulatory culture and achieve integration with the relevant authorities, within a comprehensive national vision aimed at reducing the spread of drugs and building an aware and fortified community against their dangers.
It is worth noting that the campaign launched by the Public Prosecution coincides with the international community's celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26 each year, reaffirming the importance of collective international efforts to combat the drug epidemic and mitigate its devastating effects on individuals and communities.
