توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الخميس) تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق الجوف، الحدود الشمالية، حائل، القصيم والأجزاء الشرقية من منطقة المدينة المنورة. في حين لا يستبعد تكون الضباب خلال الليل وساعات الصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية من منطقتي مكة المكرمة والشرقية.
وأشار التقرير، إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والاوسط بسرعة 25-45 كم /ساعة تصل سرعتها إلى 55 كم/ساعة باتجاه خليج العقبة وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 12-35 كم/ساعة تصل سرعتها إلى 45 كم/ساعة باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، من متر ونصف إلى مترين ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي يصل إلى مترين باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج إلى مائج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الجنوبي.
فيما ستكون حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي شمالية شرقية إلى جنوبية شرقية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وشمالية شرقية إلى شمالية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 10-28 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Thursday) the impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand on parts of the regions of Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, Ha'il, Al-Qassim, and the eastern parts of the Medina region. It also does not rule out the formation of fog during the night and early morning hours on the coastal parts of the Makkah and Eastern regions.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 25-45 km/h, reaching up to 55 km/h towards the Gulf of Aqaba, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at a speed of 12-35 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, with wave heights ranging from one and a half to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching two meters towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, with the sea condition being moderate to rough in the northern and central parts and light to moderate in the southern part.
