تُسخّر هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك جهودها الأمنية في مكافحة تهريب المواد المخدرة عبر جميع منافذها الجمركية البرية والبحرية والجوية، وذلك في إطار دورها الحيوي في الحفاظ على أمن واستقرار المجتمع، وتبذل جهوداً متواصلة لرصد وإحباط محاولات التهريب، مستعينةً بأحدث تقنيات الكشف والتفتيش، إضافةً إلى تأهيل وتدريب الكفاءات الوطنية لرفع جاهزيتهم الميدانية وتعزيز قدراتهم الأمنية.
وشهدت المنافذ الجمركية خلال عام مضى إحباط محاولات تهريب كميات كبيرة من المخدرات بمختلف الأشكال والأنواع، وبلغ ما تم ضبطه من المواد المخدرة والمحظورة أكثر من (922) كيلوغراماً، إضافةً إلى أكثر من (20) مليون حبة مخدرة ومحظورة، تم التصدي لها بجهود كبيرة بذلها أبطال المنافذ الجمركية، بالرغم من محاولات التمويه التي لجأ إليها المهربون.
وتعددت أساليب التهريب التي تم كشفها، وحاول المهربون إخفاء المواد المخدرة بطرق ومحاولات، شملت إخفاءها داخل شحنات المواد الغذائية، والأواني المنزلية، وداخل الأحذية، والمعدات، وحتى في أحشاء بعض المهربين، فضلاً عن المركبات والشاحنات.
ويعكس كشف هذه الأساليب وإحباطها حجم يقظة أبطال المنافذ الجمركية واستعدادهم دائماً وكفاءة قدراتهم، وتؤكد هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك باستمرار أن تعزيز الجانب الأمني يُمثل أحد أولوياتها الإستراتيجية، إدراكاً منها لما تشكله هذه المواد من تهديد مباشر لأمن المجتمع وسلامة أفراده.
وتُبرز النجاحات المتواصلة التي تحققها الهيئة تكامل الجهود مع الجهات الأمنية المختصة، واستمرار الهيئة في تطوير أنظمة الفحص والكشف، إلى جانب تنفيذ برامج تدريبية مكثفة لمنسوبي المنافذ الجمركية، بما يعزز قدرتهم على التصدي لأي محاولات تهريب مهما تنوعت أساليبها.
وتجدد الهيئة التزامها التام بحماية المجتمع من المخدرات والمواد الممنوعة، مع تأكيدها المستمر على أنها ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، تحقيقاً لأمن المجتمع وحمايته من هذه الآفات، بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات.
وتدعو الهيئة إلى استمرار الجميع بالإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني 1910@zatca.gov.sa والرقم الدولي (009661910). وتقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد، وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is utilizing its security efforts to combat drug smuggling through all its land, sea, and air customs outlets, as part of its vital role in maintaining the security and stability of society. It is making continuous efforts to monitor and thwart smuggling attempts, employing the latest detection and inspection technologies, in addition to qualifying and training national competencies to enhance their field readiness and strengthen their security capabilities.
Over the past year, customs outlets have thwarted attempts to smuggle large quantities of drugs in various forms and types, with more than (922) kilograms of controlled and prohibited substances seized, in addition to over (20) million narcotic and prohibited pills. These efforts were made possible by the significant work of the customs outlet heroes, despite the camouflage attempts made by the smugglers.
The methods of smuggling that were uncovered were varied, with smugglers attempting to hide narcotic substances in ways that included concealing them within shipments of foodstuffs, household items, inside shoes, equipment, and even within the bodies of some smugglers, as well as in vehicles and trucks.
The uncovering and thwarting of these methods reflect the vigilance of the customs outlet heroes and their constant readiness and efficient capabilities. The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority continually emphasizes that enhancing security is one of its strategic priorities, recognizing the direct threat these substances pose to community security and the safety of its individuals.
The continuous successes achieved by the authority highlight the integration of efforts with the relevant security agencies and the authority's ongoing development of inspection and detection systems, alongside the implementation of intensive training programs for customs outlet personnel, which enhances their ability to confront any smuggling attempts, regardless of the methods used.
The authority reaffirms its full commitment to protecting society from drugs and prohibited substances, continually emphasizing that it is moving forward to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom, achieving community security and protecting it from these scourges, in cooperation and continuous coordination with the General Directorate for Drug Control.

Through these channels, the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the Unified Customs System, with complete confidentiality, and offers a financial reward to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
