ترأس محافظ صبيا الدكتور سلطان بن عجمي بن منيخر الاجتماع الأول للمجلس المحلي في دورته الحالية بقاعة الاجتماعات بحضور وكيل المحافظة أحمد بن موسى أبو قرن، وبمشاركة رؤساء المراكز، ومديري الادراة الحكومية، وأعضاء المجلس المحلي بالمحافظة.
وناقش المجلس خلال الاجتماع عدداً من القضايا الحيوية، والمشاريع التنموية التي تهدف إلى الارتقاء بالخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين والمقيمين في المحافظة ومراكزها. كما تمت مناقشة وضع بسطات الأسماك في سوق الخضار المركزي بهدف تنظيمها وتحسين بيئة البيع، بما يضمن جودة المنتجات وسلامة المستهلكين.
واستعرض المجلس مستجدات مشاريع المياه والصرف الصحي في المحافظة، وشدد على ضرورة معالجة التشوهات البصرية في خزانات المياه، لضمان المظهر العام اللائق، كما ناقش تحويل المعهد الصناعي إلى كلية.
وتضمن الاجتماع مناقشة مقترح استحداث مسلخ وأسواق نفع عام في كل المراكز التابعة للمحافظة لتلبية احتياجات الأهالي، وتوفير بنية تحتية متكاملة للخدمات. كما تم طرح فكرة رفع فئة مركز الرعاية الصحية الأولية بالعالية، لما في ذلك من أهمية في تحسين مستوى الرعاية الصحية المقدمة لسكان المركز والمراكز المجاورة.
وفي إطار تعزيز التعاون ناقش المجلس إمكانية عقد شراكات مجتمعية بين البلدية وجمعيات التنمية لرعاية الفعاليات الوطنية والمساهمة في تنمية المجتمع.
كما ناقش المجلس أهمية تحديد المسؤولية في تنظيف الأودية، وتوزيع المهمات بين البلديات والزراعة، وضرورة تحديد الدور التنفيذي لكل جهة؛لضمان فعالية أعمال الصيانة والنظافة وحماية البيئة الطبيعية للمحافظة.
The Governor of Sabya, Dr. Sultan bin Ajmi bin Munaykhar, chaired the first meeting of the local council in its current session in the meeting hall, attended by the Deputy Governor, Ahmed bin Musa Abu Qarn, along with the heads of the centers, directors of government departments, and members of the local council in the governorate.
During the meeting, the council discussed several vital issues and development projects aimed at enhancing the services provided to citizens and residents in the governorate and its centers. The situation of fish stalls in the central vegetable market was also discussed, with the aim of organizing them and improving the selling environment, ensuring product quality and consumer safety.
The council reviewed updates on water and sewage projects in the governorate and emphasized the need to address visual distortions in water tanks to ensure an appropriate overall appearance. The discussion also included the conversion of the industrial institute into a college.
The meeting included a discussion of the proposal to establish a slaughterhouse and public markets in each of the centers affiliated with the governorate to meet the needs of the residents and provide integrated infrastructure for services. The idea of upgrading the primary healthcare center in Al-Alya was also raised, given its importance in improving the level of healthcare provided to the residents of the center and neighboring centers.
In the context of enhancing cooperation, the council discussed the possibility of establishing community partnerships between the municipality and development associations to sponsor national events and contribute to community development.
The council also discussed the importance of defining responsibilities for cleaning the valleys, distributing tasks between municipalities and agriculture, and the necessity of defining the executive role of each entity to ensure the effectiveness of maintenance and cleanliness efforts and the protection of the natural environment of the governorate.
