The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has activated a number of digital services to facilitate temporary employment during the Hajj season, having issued more than 43,000 temporary work visas through the "Temporary Work Visa for Hajj and Umrah Services" service, benefiting around 40,000 workers from the "Ajeer" service, distributed across more than three thousand establishments.
The Ministry stated that its participation in Hajj 1446 AH aimed to enhance the efficiency of seasonal work through an integrated system of social, organizational, and technical initiatives, in coordination with relevant government entities, to facilitate the performance of the guests of Allah in an atmosphere of reassurance and ease.
It also indicated that it launched the "Anwart" initiative during the season to maximize the community impact of volunteer work, with the participation of more than 12,000 male and female volunteers, who provided hospitality, guidance services, and support for the mobility of the elderly and persons with disabilities. The total number of volunteer hours exceeded 152,000 hours, positively reflecting on the quality of the services provided.
