تبدأ وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية والمجلس الوطني للسلامة والصحة المهنية تطبيق حظر العمل تحت أشعة الشمس من الساعة 12 ظهرًا إلى 3 مساءً اعتباراً من يوم الأحد 19 ذي الحجة 1446 الموافق 15 يونيو وحتى 15 سبتمبر 2025.
وقال وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية المهندس أحمد سليمان الراجي في تغريدة عبر حسابه على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «x»: «حرصًا على سلامة العاملين، نبدأ في وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية بالتعاون مع المجلس الوطني للسلامة والصحة المهنية بتطبيق قرار حظر العمل تحت أشعة الشمس ابتداءً من 15 يونيو حتى 15 سبتمبر 2025، من 12 ظهرًا إلى 3 مساءً».
وأكد وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية أن تطبيق القرار يأتي لتوفير بيئة عمل آمنة وصحية خالية من المخاطر.
ودعت وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية أصحاب العمل إلى ضرورة تنظيم ساعات العمل ومراعاة ما نص عليه هذا القرار، للمساهمة في توفير بيئة عمل آمنة من المخاطر المختلفة، ورفع مستوى كفاءة ووسائل الوقاية للحد من الإصابات والأمراض المهنية الناجمة عن التعرض لأشعة الشمس المباشرة، مما ينعكس ايجاباً على زيادة الإنتاجية.
ونشرت الوزارة على موقعها الإلكتروني (الدليل الإجرائي للسلامة والصحة المهنية للوقاية من آثار التعرض لأشعة الشمس والإجهاد الحراري والدليل الاسترشادي للوقاية من اثار العمل في الأماكن الحارة). بهدف اطلاع أصحاب المنشآت وتمكينهم من تطبيق ما جاء فيه، كما يمكن الإبلاغ عن المخالفات الخاصة بقرار حظر العمل تحت أشعة الشمس من خلال رقم الوزارة الموحد (19911)، أو عبر تطبيق الوزارة المتاح على أجهزة الهواتف الذكية.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health will implement a ban on working under direct sunlight from 12 PM to 3 PM starting Sunday, 19 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446, corresponding to June 15, until September 15, 2025.
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed Suleiman Al-Raji, stated in a tweet on his social media account "x": "In order to ensure the safety of workers, we at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in cooperation with the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, will implement the decision to ban work under direct sunlight starting from June 15 until September 15, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM."
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development emphasized that the implementation of this decision aims to provide a safe and healthy work environment free from risks.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development urged employers to organize working hours and adhere to what is stipulated in this decision, to contribute to providing a safe work environment free from various risks, and to enhance the efficiency and means of prevention to reduce injuries and occupational diseases resulting from exposure to direct sunlight, which positively reflects on increasing productivity.
The ministry published on its website (the procedural guide for occupational safety and health to prevent the effects of exposure to sunlight and heat stress, and the guideline for preventing the effects of working in hot environments) to inform employers and enable them to implement its contents. Violations of the decision to ban work under direct sunlight can be reported through the ministry's unified number (19911), or via the ministry's application available on smartphones.
