تمكن التدخل السريع ضمن نظام الرعاية العاجلة -أحد أنظمة نموذج الرعاية الصحية السعودي- من معالجة حاجة من جمهورية الهند بعد تعرضها لفشل كلوي حاد، ونجح فريق طبي في مستشفى النور التخصصي -عضو تجمع مكة المكرمة الصحي- في إجراء عملية عاجلة لإدخال دعامات لتوسيع الحالبين.
وأوضح التجمع أن المستفيدة وصلت إلى قسم الطوارئ وهي تعاني من آلام حادة، وأظهرت الفحوصات الطبية والأشعة أنها تعاني من فشل كلوي حاد نتيجة انسداد في الحالبين، مما أدى إلى مضاعفات خطيرة شملت تسمماً دمويّاً، وانخفاضاً حاداً في ضغط الدم ونسبة الأكسجين، إضافة إلى ارتفاع ملحوظ في مؤشرات وظائف الكلى.
وأضاف التجمع: بناءً على هذه المؤشرات، نقلت المستفيدة فوراً إلى قسم العناية المركزة، وبادر الفريق الطبي بإجراء عملية عاجلة تم خلالها إدخال دعامات لتوسيع الحالبين، بعدها تماثلت للشفاء بشكل كامل، وغادرت المستشفى وهي في حالة صحية مستقرة وجيدة.

A medical team at Al-Noor Specialized Hospital - a member of the Makkah Health Cluster - successfully performed an urgent procedure to insert stents to widen the ureters.
The cluster clarified that the patient arrived at the emergency department suffering from severe pain, and medical tests and imaging revealed that she was experiencing acute kidney failure due to blockage in the ureters, leading to serious complications including sepsis, a sharp drop in blood pressure and oxygen levels, in addition to a noticeable increase in kidney function indicators.
The cluster added: Based on these indicators, the patient was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit, and the medical team promptly performed an urgent procedure during which stents were inserted to widen the ureters. She then fully recovered and left the hospital in a stable and good health condition.
