تشارك القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية في موسم حج 1446، ضمن خطة وزارة الدفاع الشاملة عبر تقديم الدعم والمساندة للجهات الحكومية العاملة في المنافذ البحرية، وذلك في إطار الجهود المشتركة لتأمين حركة دخول الحجاج وتعزيز السلامة.
وتتولى القوات البحرية مهمة فحص الطرود المشبوهة في المنافذ البحرية والكشف عن المواد المتفجرة والتعرف عليها، باستخدام تقنيات متقدمة وخبرات نوعية في مجال الأمن البحري.
وتتضمن المشاركة إسهام فريق من الغواصين المتخصصين في البحث والإنقاذ مع فرق الدفاع المدني، وذلك في حالات جريان السيول أو هطول أمطار غزيرة على المشاعر المقدسة.
وتساند القوات البحرية ممثلةً في الأسطول الغربي بوحدات من المشاة والقوات الخاصة والطيران المُسيَّر ووحدات من الشرطة العسكرية البحرية وبعض التخصصات الأخرى في عدد من المهمات المساندة لقوى الأمن الداخلي بالمشاعر.
The Royal Saudi Navy participates in the Hajj season of 1446, as part of the comprehensive plan of the Ministry of Defense by providing support and assistance to the government agencies operating at the maritime ports, within the framework of joint efforts to secure the movement of pilgrims and enhance safety.
The naval forces are responsible for inspecting suspicious packages at the maritime ports and detecting and identifying explosive materials, using advanced technologies and specialized expertise in the field of maritime security.
The participation includes the contribution of a team of specialized divers in search and rescue operations alongside civil defense teams, particularly in cases of flooding or heavy rainfall in the holy sites.
The naval forces, represented by the Western Fleet, support with units of infantry, special forces, unmanned aerial vehicles, and units from the naval military police, along with other specialties in several missions supporting the internal security forces in the holy sites.
