أنهت نيابة الحج والعمرة تحقيقاتها مع وافدين قاموا بنشر إعلانات مضللة تتضمن القيام بحج وهمي، وبيع سندات أضاحٍ مزورة بقصد الاحتيال، حيث ضُبطت بحوزتهم أموال نقدية وسندات مزورة.
وجرى إيقافهم وإحالتهم إلى المحكمة المختصة للمطالبة بإيقاع عقوبات السجن والغرامة والمصادرة طبقاً للنظام.
وتؤكد النيابة العامة استمرارها في ملاحقة كل من تسوّل له نفسه الاحتيال على الحجاج أو النيل من حقوقهم. كما تهيب بالجميع ضرورة الالتزام التام بأنظمة وتعليمات الحج، وعدم الانسياق خلف الإعلانات الاحتيالية المضللة.
The Public Prosecution has concluded its investigations with expatriates who published misleading advertisements involving fake Hajj services and selling counterfeit sacrifice bonds for fraudulent purposes, as they were found in possession of cash and forged bonds.
They have been arrested and referred to the competent court to seek penalties of imprisonment, fines, and confiscation in accordance with the law.
The Public Prosecution emphasizes its commitment to pursuing anyone who attempts to defraud pilgrims or undermine their rights. It also urges everyone to fully adhere to the regulations and instructions of Hajj and not to be swayed by deceptive fraudulent advertisements.
