وزير الداخلية: القيادة تحرص على تعزيز أمن وسلامة الحجاج والمعتمرين

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, met today with the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, at the headquarters of the Makkah Region Emirate in Jeddah.

During the meeting, the Minister of Interior emphasized that his visit to the Makkah Region comes in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who both place great importance on the Makkah Region and all regions of the Kingdom, and their keenness to provide all necessary resources to enhance the security, safety, and well-being of citizens, residents, visitors, pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, and those performing Umrah and visiting the Grand Mosque.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud noted during the meeting the developmental progress that the Makkah Region is witnessing in all fields, supported by the wise leadership and the follow-up of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, and his deputy.

The Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, for his part, appreciated the significant efforts made by the Ministry of Interior to maintain the security and safety of the homeland, its citizens, residents, and visitors in all regions of the Kingdom, praising the security efforts of the Ministry of Interior sectors in serving the guests of Allah. Following the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud watched a visual presentation about the developmental initiatives overseen by the Makkah Region Emirate. The meeting was attended by the Advisor to the Emir of the Makkah Region and General Supervisor of the Emirate Agency, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saad, Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, Director of Public Security Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Basami, Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arawan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Regional Affairs Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Rubai, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs Major General Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Faris, Director of the General Administration of Media and Institutional Communication Colonel Talal bin Abdul Mohsen bin Shalhub, and a number of senior officials from the Makkah Region Emirate.
