أعلنت المحكمة العليا أن يوم غدٍ (الأربعاء) 1 / 12 / 1446هـ ــ حسب تقويم أم القرى ــ الموافق للثامن والعشرين من شهر مايو 2025م، هو غرة شهر ذي الحجة لعام 1446هـ، والوقوف بعرفة يوم الخميس 9 / 12 / 1446هـ ــ حسب تقويم أم القرى ــ الموافق للخامس من شهر يونيو، وعيد الأضحى المبارك يوم الجمعة الذي يليه.
جاء ذلك في بيان أصدرته المحكمة العليا اليوم فيما يلي نصه:
الحمد لله وحده، وصلى الله وسلم على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين، وبعد: فقد عقدت دائرة الأهلة في المحكمة العليا جلسةً مساء هذا اليوم الثلاثاء التاسع والعشرين من شهر ذي القعدة لعام 1446هـ -حسب تقويم أم القرى- الموافق 27 / 5 / 2025م؛ للنظر فيما يردها حول ترائي هلال شهر ذي الحجة لهذا العام 1446هـ، وبعد الاطلاع على جميع ما وردها والنظر فيه وتأمله، ونظراً لما تضمنه قرار المحكمة العليا رقم (194/ هـ) وتاريخ 29 / 10 / 1446هـ أن يوم الثلاثاء 1 / 11 / 1446هـ ــ حسب تقويم أم القرى ــ الموافق 29 / 4 / 2025م هو غرة شهر ذي القعدة لهذا العام 1446هـ، ولأنه قد شهِدَ عدد من الشهود العدول برؤية هلال شهر ذي الحجة هذه الليلة؛ فإن الدائرة تقرر أن يوم غدٍ الأربعاء 1 / 12 / 1446هـ -حسب تقويم أم القرى- الموافق للثامن والعشرين من شهر مايو 2025م، هو غرة شهر ذي الحجة لعام 1446هـ، والوقوف بعرفة يوم الخميس 9 / 12 / 1446هـ -حسب تقويم أم القرى- الموافق للخامس من شهر يونيو، وعيد الأضحى المبارك يوم الجمعة الذي يليه.
والمحكمة العليا إذ تعلن ذلك لتسأل المولى عز وجل لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وسمو ولي عهده الأمين -حفظهما الله- أن يجزيهما خير الجزاء لما يقدمانه من خدمة لضيوف الرحمن، كما تسأل الله عز وجل لعموم المسلمين أن يوفِّقهم للعمل بما يرضيه، ويتقبل صالح أعمالهم، ويتجاوز عن سيئاتهم، ويحفظ حجاج بيته الحرام، وييسر سُبل أداء حجهم، ويتقبله منهم، وأن ينصر دينه ويُعلي كلمته، ويحفظ على هذه البلاد أمنها واستقرارها وازدهارها وولاة أمرها، إنه سميع قريب مجيب الدعاء، وصلى الله وسلم وبارك على نبينا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين،،،

The Supreme Court announced that tomorrow (Wednesday) 1 / 12 / 1446 AH — according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to the twenty-eighth of May 2025 AD, is the first day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah for the year 1446 AH, with the standing at Arafat on Thursday 9 / 12 / 1446 AH — according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to the fifth of June, and the blessed Eid al-Adha on the following Friday.
This was stated in a statement issued by the Supreme Court today, the text of which is as follows:
All praise is due to Allah alone, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and companions. After that: The Crescent Committee at the Supreme Court held a session this evening, Tuesday the twenty-ninth of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah for the year 1446 AH - according to the Umm al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 27 / 5 / 2025 AD; to consider what has been reported to it regarding the sighting of the crescent moon for the month of Dhul-Hijjah for this year 1446 AH. After reviewing all that was presented and contemplating it, and in light of what was included in the Supreme Court's decision No. (194/H) dated 29 / 10 / 1446 AH that Tuesday 1 / 11 / 1446 AH — according to the Umm al-Qura calendar — corresponding to 29 / 4 / 2025 AD is the first day of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah for this year 1446 AH, and since a number of trustworthy witnesses have testified to seeing the crescent moon of Dhul-Hijjah this evening; the committee decides that tomorrow, Wednesday 1 / 12 / 1446 AH - according to the Umm al-Qura calendar - corresponding to the twenty-eighth of May 2025 AD, is the first day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah for the year 1446 AH, with the standing at Arafat on Thursday 9 / 12 / 1446 AH - according to the Umm al-Qura calendar - corresponding to the fifth of June, and the blessed Eid al-Adha on the following Friday.
As the Supreme Court announces this, it asks Allah, the Almighty, to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince - may Allah protect them - for their generous service to the guests of Allah, and it also asks Allah, the Almighty, to grant all Muslims success in doing what pleases Him, to accept their good deeds, to overlook their misdeeds, to protect the pilgrims of His Sacred House, to facilitate their pilgrimage, and to accept it from them. It also asks Him to support His religion, elevate His word, and preserve the security, stability, and prosperity of this country and its leaders. Indeed, He is All-Hearing, Near, and Responsive to supplication. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions all together.
