التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، اليوم، وزير خارجية ماليزيا داتو سري أوتاما الحاج محمد بن حاج حسن، وذلك على هامش القمة الثانية بين دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، ودول رابطة الآسيان المنعقدة في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية، وسُبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في شتى المجالات، ومُناقشة تكثيف التعاون والتنسيق الثنائي ومتعدد الأطراف في العديد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
حضر اللقاء وكيل الوزارة للشؤون الدولية المتعددة المشرف العام على وكالة الوزارة لشؤون الدبلوماسية العامة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرسي، ووكيل الوزارة لشؤون الاقتصاد والتنمية عبدالله بن زرعة، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى ماليزيا مساعد السليم.
Today, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with the Foreign Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Sri Utama Haji Muhammad bin Haji Hassan, on the sidelines of the second summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the ASEAN countries held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, as well as discussed intensifying cooperation and coordination both bilaterally and multilaterally on many issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Ministry's Public Diplomacy Agency, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, the Undersecretary for Economic Affairs and Development, Abdullah bin Zar'ah, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Malaysia, Musaid Al-Sulaim.
