شدد السفير الإندونيسي الدكتور عبدالعزيز أحمد على الجالية الإندونيسية المقيمة بمنطقة الجوف على ضرورة الالتزام بالأنظمة السعودية، مشيراً في حديث إلى «عكاظ» أن عدداً من العمالة الإندونيسية دخلوا السعودية بتأشيرات زيارات لا تخول لهم العمل، وأنه عمل على تنبيههم وتبصيرهم بالأنظمة السائدة، وبحث أوضاعهم وتبصيرهم بعادات المنطقة وتقاليد الأهالي الذين وجدوا منهم كل ترحيب وحسن استقبال.
وأضاف السفير الإندونيسي أن لقاءه بأمير منطقة الجوف الأمير فيصل بن نواف بن عبدالعزيز استعرض كل ما يهم البلدين الشقيقين، مبيناً أن الهدف من زيارته للمنطقة هو تعزيز العلاقات ولقاء أبناء الجالية الإندونيسية المقيمة بالجوف. وأبدى السفير إعجابه بمحافظة دومة الجندل التي تحتضن آثاراً عريقة وتاريخية منذ عقود، قائلاً: «استمتعت بمشاهدة مسجد عمر بن الخطاب والمنطقة الأثرية والبحيرة الصناعية ومزارع النخيل».

The Indonesian ambassador, Dr. Abdulaziz Ahmed, emphasized to the Indonesian community residing in the Al-Jouf region the importance of adhering to Saudi regulations. In a conversation with "Okaz," he pointed out that a number of Indonesian workers entered Saudi Arabia on visit visas that do not permit them to work, and that he has worked to inform and educate them about the prevailing regulations, as well as to discuss their situations and enlighten them about the customs of the region and the traditions of the locals, who welcomed them warmly.
The Indonesian ambassador added that his meeting with the Prince of Al-Jouf, Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, covered all matters of interest to the two brotherly countries, indicating that the purpose of his visit to the region is to strengthen relations and meet with the members of the Indonesian community residing in Al-Jouf. The ambassador expressed his admiration for the Governorate of Dumat al-Jandal, which hosts ancient and historical artifacts dating back decades, saying: "I enjoyed seeing the Mosque of Umar ibn al-Khattab, the archaeological area, the artificial lake, and the date palm farms."
