في تحقيقات امتدت خيوطها لأكثر من نصف قرن، فجرت «اللجنة العليا لتحقيق الجنسية الكويتية» برئاسة النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية فهد اليوسف مفاجآت صدمت الشارع الكويتي، بعدما نجحت مباحث الجنسية في إسقاط أقنعة المزورين ونبش أرشيف الجرائم الممتدة منذ عقود لفك شفرة «تزوير المقابر» وانتحال الهويات.
عبر منظومة استخباراتية جينية اعتمدت على البصمة الوراثية (DNA) وتتبع حركة المنافذ وسجلات البلدية القديمة، تمكنت السلطات من حل ألغاز أربع قضايا شائكة كشفت زيف هويات بعض كبار الشخصيات والمسؤولين:
سر تصريح دفن عام 1977
قاد بلاغ وفاة وتصريح دفن طفل كويتي توفي بعمر عامين لسقوط قناع خطير، إذ كشفت التحريات أن شخصاً خليجياً انتحل صفة هذا الطفل المتوفى منذ عام 1987، والتحق بالحرس الوطني وترقى حتى التقاعد، مضيفاً تسعة أبناء لملفه، لكن البصمة الوراثية لشقيقه واعترافات العائلة نسفت خدعته الممتدة لعقود.
قائد منطقة عسكرية بصفة مزيفة
كشفت التحقيقات عن متجنس أدخل خمسة من أبناء إخوته السوريين لملفه كأبناء له؛ وكان من بينهم ضابط تدرّج في وزارة الداخلية الكويتية حتى وصل إلى رتبة رفيعة وتولى منصب قائد منطقة! ليتقرر سحب الجنسية منه ومن 14 شخصاً تبعوه بعد ثبوت كذب نسبه جينياً.
هربوا للخارج وطاردتهم الجينات
ولم يحمِ الهروب خارج الكويت متورطاً خليجياً ادعى النسب لمواطن كويتي منذ عام 1968، إذ طاردته العينات الجينية المحفوظة بالأدلة الجنائية لتثبت عدم صلته بالجهة المسجلة باسمه، مما ترتب عليه سحب الجنسية من 282 شخصاً ترتبوا على ملفه وملف شقيقه.
أما في القضية الرابعة، فقد استخدم مواطن خليجي أحكام إثبات النسب ليحل محل مواطن كويتي أصغر منه بست سنوات، قبل أن تطارده العينة الجينية لشقيقته المقيمة بالكويت لتكشف المستور وتنهي حيلة معقدة.
وأكدت السلطات الكويتية استمرار هذه الحملة الصارمة لتنقية سجلات المواطنة، مشددة على أن التقنيات الجينية الحديثة لن تسمح لأي تزوير بالصمود، مهما طال الزمن أو غاب أصحابه.
In investigations that have spanned more than half a century, the "High Commission for Investigating Kuwaiti Nationality," headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Fahad Al-Yusuf, has revealed surprises that shocked the Kuwaiti public, after the nationality investigations succeeded in unmasking forgers and digging into archives of crimes extending back decades to unravel the "forgery of graves" and identity impersonation.
Through a genetic intelligence system that relied on DNA fingerprinting and tracking the movement of entry points and old municipal records, authorities managed to solve the mysteries of four complex cases that exposed the false identities of some prominent figures and officials:
The Mystery of the Burial Permit from 1977
A report of the death and burial permit for a Kuwaiti child who died at the age of two led to the unmasking of a dangerous disguise, as investigations revealed that a Gulf national had impersonated this deceased child since 1987, joining the National Guard and rising through the ranks until retirement, adding nine children to his file. However, the genetic fingerprint of his brother and the family's confessions dismantled his decades-long deception.
A Military Zone Commander with a Fake Identity
Investigations revealed a naturalized individual who included five of his Syrian brothers' children in his file as his own; among them was an officer who progressed through the ranks in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior until he reached a high rank and assumed the position of a military zone commander! It was decided to revoke his nationality and that of 14 others who followed him after proving his lineage was genetically false.
They Fled Abroad, but Genetics Pursued Them
Fleeing outside Kuwait did not protect a Gulf national who claimed lineage to a Kuwaiti citizen since 1968, as genetic samples preserved in forensic evidence tracked him down to prove his lack of connection to the entity registered in his name, resulting in the revocation of nationality from 282 individuals linked to his file and that of his brother.
In the fourth case, a Gulf citizen used paternity verification rulings to replace a Kuwaiti citizen who was six years younger than him, before being pursued by the genetic sample of his sister residing in Kuwait, which revealed the truth and ended a complex scheme.
Kuwaiti authorities confirmed the continuation of this strict campaign to purify citizenship records, emphasizing that modern genetic technologies will not allow any forgery to withstand, no matter how long it takes or how absent its perpetrators are.
