هيئة الصحفيين بنجران تنظم ورشة عمل «الإعلام والتنمية»

The Saudi Journalists Association in the Najran region organized a workshop titled (Media and Development). The workshop included two sessions, the first of which was titled (Utilizing Development Media in Addressing Development Issues), attended by the General Supervisor of the Support, Development, and Empowerment of Street Vendors file, and the Advisor to the Undersecretary for Human Capacity Development in the Municipal and Housing Sector, Princess Najoud bint Hithalal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Abdullah Al-Salhi, Dr. Lubna Abdulaziz Mustafa, and Engineer Mohammed Ismail Al-Shanqeeti, under the management of Ali Zainan.

The session addressed the vital role in enhancing community awareness by highlighting relevant economic, social, and cultural issues, including the project to support street vendors. Princess Najoud spoke about the significant role of media in its various forms in raising awareness and expanding the circle of knowledge in this regard. She stated that there is an opportunity for journalists to contribute to such projects and promote them among different segments of society. In the same vein, the speakers discussed the importance of media interaction with creative ideas and encouraging them to create new job and employment opportunities.

In the second session titled (Specialized Artificial Intelligence Solutions in Media), which was managed by Engineer Ali Atiq, Princess Najoud bint Hithalal bin Abdulaziz and Engineer Mohammed Abdul Al-Sheikh emphasized the importance of using technologies and artificial intelligence tools in processing and analyzing media data and reviewing the extent of audience interaction with it to understand the interests of the recipient in order to provide suitable content for them, in addition to developing these tools to improve the media product.
