أعلنت مؤسسة الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله للموهبة والإبداع «موهبة», أن المملكة العربية السعودية حققت المركز الثاني عالمياً في عدد الجوائز الكبرى المحصّلة ضمن منافسات معرض «آيسف 2025»، الذي أقيم في مدينة كولومبوس بولاية أوهايو الأمريكية، وذلك بعد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
ويأتي هذا الإنجاز الوطني الكبير امتداداً لسلسلة النجاحات التي تحققها المملكة في هذا المضمار العلمي، حيث كانت قد احتلت ذات المركز، بعد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، في منافسات العام الماضي «آيسف 2024».
وحصد المنتخب السعودي الذي يضم (40) طالباً وطالبة، (23) جائزة عالمية، منها (14) جائزة كبرى و (9) جوائز خاصة، خلال منافسته في المعرض الذي شارك فيه أكثر من (1700) طالب وطالبة يمثلون (70) دولة حول العالم.
يذكر أن معرض «آيسف» يعد أهم وأكبر منصة عالمية للمشاريع البحثية والابتكارية لطلاب المدارس، حيث تُقيَّم المشاركات من قِبل نخبة من العلماء والخبراء الدوليين، مما يمنح المشاركين فرصة مميزة لاستعراض قدراتهم العلمية أمام جمهور عالمي من المتخصصين.
The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Talent and Creativity, "Mawhiba," announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia achieved second place globally in the number of grand awards received at the "ISEF 2025" competition, which was held in Columbus, Ohio, USA, following the United States of America.
This significant national achievement is a continuation of the series of successes the Kingdom has been attaining in this scientific field, as it had also secured the same position, after the United States of America, in last year's "ISEF 2024" competition.
The Saudi team, which comprises (40) male and female students, won (23) global awards, including (14) grand awards and (9) special awards, during its participation in the exhibition, which included more than (1700) students representing (70) countries around the world.
It is worth noting that the "ISEF" exhibition is the most important and largest global platform for research and innovative projects for school students, where the entries are evaluated by a select group of international scientists and experts, providing participants with a unique opportunity to showcase their scientific abilities before a global audience of specialists.
