أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون الخليجي جاسم محمد البديوي اليوم (الإثنين)، عن إدانته واستنكاره بأشد العبارات للهجوم الإرهابي بالصواريخ الباليستية الذي نفذته مليشيا الحوثي واستهدف المنطقة الجنوبية في المملكة العربية السعودية.
وأكّد البديوي أن هذا الاعتداء الجبان يمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، ويعكس إصرار هذه المليشيا على تقويض الأمن والاستقرار وتهديد سلامة المدنيين والمنشآت. وأوضح أن استمرار هذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية من قبل مليشيا الحوثي وانتهاكها لكافة القوانين الدولية ووقف إطلاق النار، يستوجب موقفاً دولياً حازماً ورادعاً، يضع حداً للممارسات العدائية التي تقوم بها، ويضمن محاسبة المسؤولين القائمين عليها، بما يسهم في حماية الأمن والسلم الإقليميين والدوليين.
وأكّد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون الخليجي أن أمن المملكة العربية السعودية يعد جزءاً لا يتجزأ من أمن دول مجلس التعاون، وأن المجلس يقف صفاً واحداً مع المملكة في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية أمنها واستقرارها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها.
من جهته، قال المتحدث باسم تحالف دعم الشرعية اللواء الركن تركي المالكي كتب على منصة «إكس»: الدفاعات الجوية تعاملت مع تهديد بصواريخ باليستية اطلقتها المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية باتجاه المنطقة الجنوبية.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed today (Monday) his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the ballistic missile terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia, which targeted the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Budaiwi affirmed that this cowardly attack represents a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, reflecting this militia's insistence on undermining security and stability and threatening the safety of civilians and facilities. He clarified that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia and their violation of all international laws and the ceasefire necessitates a firm and deterrent international stance that puts an end to their hostile practices and ensures accountability for those responsible, contributing to the protection of regional and international peace and security.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council emphasized that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the GCC states, and that the Council stands united with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
For his part, the spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, wrote on the platform "X": The air defenses dealt with a threat from ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the southern region.
