دشن أمير منطقة تبوك الأمير فهد بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بالإمارة، أمس، التمرين التعبوي «استجابة 24»، بحضور عدد من ممثلي الجهات الحكومية والخاصة، إلى جانب قيادات المركز الوطني للرقابة على الالتزام البيئي المشرف على تنفيذ التمرين.
واطّلع خلال التدشين على عرض قدمه المدير التنفيذي للعمليات الإقليمية بالمركز عادل الغامدي، استعرض فيه أهداف التمرين ومحاوره، وأبرز التطورات في جاهزية الجهات المشاركة لتنفيذ فرضية الخطة الوطنية لمكافحة التلوث البحري بالزيت على سواحل منطقة تبوك. ويشارك في التمرين 42 جهة تمثل مختلف القطاعات البيئية والأمنية والصناعية والخدمية، بما يعزز التكامل بين الجهات ذات العلاقة ويرفع مستوى الاستعداد لمواجهة الحوادث البيئية المحتملة.
وأشاد أمير منطقة تبوك باهتمام حكومة خادم الحرمين وولي العهد بسلامة الإنسان وحماية البيئة، ولا سيما البيئة البحرية، من خلال سن الأنظمة والتشريعات التي تسهم في الحد من الحوادث المؤثرة على الثروات الطبيعية.
وأكد أمير تبوك أهمية التدريب المستمر والاستعداد المسبق للتعامل مع الكوارث البيئية باحترافية، بما يضمن تحقيق أعلى درجات الجاهزية، ورفع مستوى التنسيق والتواصل بين الجهات المعنية، وتعزيز سرعة الاستجابة لأي حوادث طارئة والحد من آثارها.
كما شدد على دعم إمارة منطقة تبوك لجميع أعمال التمرين، وتسخير الإمكانات اللازمة لإنجاحه، بما يسهم في تعزيز منظومة الاستجابة للطوارئ البيئية، وحماية الموارد الطبيعية، والمحافظة على البيئة البحرية وفق أعلى معايير الكفاءة والاستدامة.
The Prince of the Tabuk Region, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated the exercise "Response 24" yesterday in his office at the emirate, in the presence of several representatives from governmental and private sectors, along with leaders from the National Center for Environmental Compliance Monitoring, which oversees the implementation of the exercise.
During the inauguration, he was briefed on a presentation by the Executive Director of Regional Operations at the center, Adel Al-Ghamdi, who outlined the objectives and key aspects of the exercise, as well as the latest developments in the readiness of the participating entities to implement the national plan to combat marine oil pollution along the coasts of the Tabuk Region. A total of 42 entities representing various environmental, security, industrial, and service sectors are participating in the exercise, which enhances integration among the relevant parties and raises the level of preparedness to address potential environmental incidents.
The Prince of Tabuk praised the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince in human safety and environmental protection, particularly marine environments, through the enactment of regulations and legislation that contribute to reducing incidents affecting natural resources.
The Prince of Tabuk emphasized the importance of continuous training and prior preparedness to professionally handle environmental disasters, ensuring the highest levels of readiness, enhancing coordination and communication among the concerned entities, and improving response speed to any emergency incidents while minimizing their impacts.
He also stressed the support of the Tabuk Emirate for all activities of the exercise, providing the necessary resources to ensure its success, which contributes to enhancing the emergency response system for environmental issues, protecting natural resources, and preserving the marine environment according to the highest standards of efficiency and sustainability.
