انخفضت أسعار الرصاص إلى أدنى مستوياتها في 56 عاماً، بعد أن سجلت مستودعات بورصة لندن للمعادن أكبر زيادة منذ بدء تسجيل البيانات في عام 1970.
وقفزت المخزونات بمقدار 80.7 ألف طن إلى 370.1 ألف طن تقريباً، بسبب تدفقات الرصاص إلى مستودعات سنغافورة. وتراجع سعر الرصاص بنسبة 0.3% ليصل إلى 1862.50 دولار للطن في منتصف تعاملات اليوم.
يأتي ذلك فيما واصلت أسعار النحاس ارتفاعها اليوم، لتسجل أعلى مستوى لها في ثلاثة أسابيع، مدعومةً بمؤشرات على تحسن الطلب وتشدد الإمدادات في الصين، أكبر مستهلك للمعادن في العالم، إلى جانب تصاعد المخاوف بشأن اضطرابات محتملة في سلاسل التوريد بسبب التوترات في الشرق الأوسط.
أفضل أداء
وزاد سعر النحاس القياسي لأجل ثلاثة أشهر في بورصة لندن للمعادن بنسبة 0.4 % إلى 1.3601 دولار للطن المتري، مسجلاً أعلى مستوى له منذ 23 يونيو الماضي.
وأظهرت بيانات رسمية أن صادرات الصين، أكبر مستهلك للمعادن عالمياً، سجلت ارتفاعاً ملحوظاً في يونيو، محققةً أفضل أداء لها خلال أربعة أشهر.
كما ارتفع سعر عقد النحاس الأكثر تداولاً في بورصة شنغهاي للعقود الآجلة بنسبة 1.1 % إلى 104.390 يواناً للطن.
Lead prices have fallen to their lowest levels in 56 years, after London Metal Exchange warehouses recorded the largest increase since data collection began in 1970.
Stocks surged by 80,700 tons to nearly 370,100 tons, due to lead flows into Singapore warehouses. The price of lead dropped by 0.3% to $1,862.50 per ton in mid-day trading.
This comes as copper prices continued to rise today, reaching their highest level in three weeks, supported by signs of improved demand and tightening supplies in China, the world's largest consumer of metals, alongside growing concerns about potential disruptions in supply chains due to tensions in the Middle East.
Best Performance
The price of three-month benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange increased by 0.4% to $1,360.1 per metric ton, marking its highest level since June 23.
Official data showed that China's exports, the world's largest consumer of metals, recorded a significant increase in June, achieving their best performance in four months.
The price of the most traded copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange also rose by 1.1% to 104,390 yuan per ton.
