في موقف إنساني نبيل، وبشفاعة مباشرة من أمير منطقة حائل الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعد بن عبدالعزيز، أعلن المواطن جندل بن سماح الرشيدي تنازله عن القصاص، استجابةً لشفاعة سموه، وتقديراً لمكانته، واستشعاراً لفضل العفو وثوابه العظيم.
وجاء إعلان التنازل خلال لقاء جمع سمو أمير المنطقة بجندل الرشيدي، في حضور عدد من الشيوخ والوجهاء والأعيان، حيث ثمّن الحضور هذا الموقف النبيل الذي يجسّد معاني التسامح والتراحم، ويعزز من قيم التلاحم المجتمعي والتكافل الوطني. وأكدوا أن شفاعة سمو الأمير ليست غريبة على رجل عُرف بمبادراته في جمع الكلمة وإصلاح ذات البين.
ويُعد هذا التنازل ثمرة من ثمار الجهود المباركة التي يقودها أمير منطقة حائل في تعزيز السلم المجتمعي، وتفعيل المبادرات الإنسانية في قضايا الدم، انطلاقاً من تعاليم الشريعة الإسلامية، ودورها في إغلاق أبواب الفتن وتحقيق الاستقرار.
من جانبه، عبّر جندل الرشيدي عن بالغ شكره وامتنانه لسمو الأمير، مؤكداً أن شفاعته الكريمة كان لها بالغ الأثر في اتخاذ قرار العفو، سائلاً الله أن يجعل ذلك في ميزان حسناته.

In a noble humanitarian stance, and with a direct intercession from the Prince of the Hail region, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, citizen Jandal bin Samah Al-Rashidi announced his renunciation of retribution, in response to His Highness's intercession, in appreciation of his status, and in recognition of the virtue of forgiveness and its great reward.
The announcement of the renunciation came during a meeting that brought together His Highness the Prince of the region and Jandal Al-Rashidi, in the presence of a number of sheikhs, dignitaries, and notables, where the attendees praised this noble stance that embodies the meanings of tolerance and compassion, and enhances the values of community cohesion and national solidarity. They affirmed that the intercession of His Highness the Prince is not surprising for a man known for his initiatives in unifying voices and reconciling differences.
This renunciation is considered a fruit of the blessed efforts led by the Prince of the Hail region in promoting community peace and activating humanitarian initiatives in blood-related issues, based on the teachings of Islamic law and its role in closing the doors of discord and achieving stability.
For his part, Jandal Al-Rashidi expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Prince, affirming that his generous intercession had a significant impact on the decision to forgive, asking God to place this in the balance of his good deeds.
