أكد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز أن مشروعات الطرق تعكس الدعم السخي والاهتمام الكبير اللذين توليهما القيادة لتنمية وتطوير مناطق المملكة كافة، تحقيقًا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
جاء ذلك خلال تدشينه 10 مشروعات حيوية للطرق في المنطقة، بتكلفة إجمالية بلغت 188 مليون ريال، وبأطوال إجمالية تجاوزت 498 كم، وذلك بحضور نائب أمير المنطقة الأمير سعود بن نهار بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، ووزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للطرق المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر، وعددٍ من أصحاب المعالي وقيادات منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية.
وأشار أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة إلى أن مشروعات الطرق تُعد شريانًا حيويًا للتنمية، لما تمثله من دور محوري في تسهيل حركة التنقل، وتعزيز الترابط بين المدن والمحافظات، ودعم الأنشطة الاقتصادية والخدمية، إلى جانب إسهامها في رفع مستوى السلامة المرورية وتحسين جودة الحياة، مثمنًا جهود وزارة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، بقطاعاتها ومنظومتها المتكاملة، وما تقدمه من خدمات متميزة تسهم في تعزيز التنمية الشاملة في المدينة المنورة ومحافظاتها.
وتضمنت المشروعات المُدشّنة استكمال جزء من تقاطع طريق الأمير نايف بن عبدالعزيز مع طريق الملك خالد (الدائري الثالث) بطول 10 كم وبتكلفة 54 مليون ريال، وربط طريق المدينة المنورة – ينبع السريع بمدخل فرعي يربط بقرية الواسطة بطول 1 كم وبتكلفة 7 ملايين ريال، إضافة إلى استكمال الأعمال المتبقية على طريق أنبوان / الغاشية / المحاجر بطول 1 كم وبتكلفة 3 ملايين ريال.
كما تضمنت المشروعات المُدشّنة رفع مستوى السلامة المرورية، وتوسعة الأكتاف، ومعالجة المواقع المتضررة، التي شملت طريق المدينة المنورة – المهد المباشر بطول 79 كم وبتكلفة 35 مليون ريال، إضافة إلى طريق المدينة المنورة – تبوك المزدوج بطول 126 كم وبتكلفة 33 مليون ريال، وطريق المدينة المنورة – مكة المكرمة السريع بطول 115 كم وبتكلفة 20 مليون ريال، وطريق المدينة المنورة – القصيم السريع بطول 69 كم وبتكلفة 16 مليون ريال، وطريق المدينة المنورة – حائل بطول 47 كم وبتكلفة 9 ملايين ريال، وطريق العلا – حائل بطول 30 كم وبتكلفة 8 ملايين ريال، ومعالجة المواقع المتضررة على طرق الحمنة – الأكحل – اليتمة / الضميرية – زراعي أبيار الماشي – الحنو – لحج المعمار، بطول 20 كم وبتكلفة 3 ملايين ريال.
من جانبه أوضح وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية أن هذه المشروعات تأتي امتدادًا لدعم القيادة الرشيدة -أعزها الله- لقطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، مشيرًا إلى أن مشروعات الطرق المُدشّنة ستسهم في تعزيز حركة التنقل في المنطقة، وخدمة قاصدي المسجد النبوي الشريف.
وبيّن أن هذه المشروعات نُفذت وفق أعلى معايير السلامة والجودة، ووفق كود الطرق السعودي، وستسهم في دعم شبكة الطرق بالمنطقة، التي تتجاوز أطوالها 7600 كم، مؤكدًا مواصلة منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، ممثلةً في الهيئة العامة للطرق، جهودها في الارتقاء بشبكة الطرق، التي تُعد من أهم الممكنات الوطنية الداعمة لتحقيق مستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، وترسيخ مكانة المملكة مركزًا لوجستيًا عالميًا وفق رؤية المملكة 2030.
The Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that road projects reflect the generous support and significant interest that the leadership gives to the development and enhancement of all regions of the Kingdom, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
This came during the inauguration of 10 vital road projects in the region, with a total cost of 188 million riyals and a total length exceeding 498 km, in the presence of the Deputy Prince of the region, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Roads, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, along with several dignitaries and leaders of the transport and logistics services system.
The Prince of Medina Region pointed out that road projects are a vital artery for development, as they play a pivotal role in facilitating movement, enhancing connectivity between cities and governorates, and supporting economic and service activities, in addition to contributing to improving traffic safety and quality of life. He appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, with its sectors and integrated system, and the distinguished services it provides that contribute to enhancing comprehensive development in Medina and its governorates.
The inaugurated projects included the completion of a part of the intersection of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Road with King Khalid Road (the third ring road) with a length of 10 km and a cost of 54 million riyals, connecting the Medina-Yanbu Expressway with a secondary entrance linking to the Al-Wasita village with a length of 1 km and a cost of 7 million riyals, in addition to completing the remaining works on the Anbawan/Al-Ghashiya/Quarries Road with a length of 1 km and a cost of 3 million riyals.
The inaugurated projects also included enhancing traffic safety, widening shoulders, and addressing damaged sites, which included the direct Medina-Al-Mahd Road with a length of 79 km and a cost of 35 million riyals, in addition to the double Medina-Tabaq Road with a length of 126 km and a cost of 33 million riyals, the Medina-Makkah Expressway with a length of 115 km and a cost of 20 million riyals, the Medina-Qassim Expressway with a length of 69 km and a cost of 16 million riyals, the Medina-Hail Road with a length of 47 km and a cost of 9 million riyals, the Al-Ula-Hail Road with a length of 30 km and a cost of 8 million riyals, and addressing damaged sites on the Al-Hamna-Al-Akhil-Al-Yatima/Dhamiriyah-Abyar Al-Mashi-Al-Hanu-Lahij Al-Maamar Roads, with a length of 20 km and a cost of 3 million riyals.
For his part, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services explained that these projects come as an extension of the wise leadership's support - may Allah honor it - for the transport and logistics services sector, noting that the inaugurated road projects will contribute to enhancing movement in the region and serving those heading to the Prophet's Mosque.
He indicated that these projects were implemented according to the highest standards of safety and quality, and in accordance with the Saudi Road Code, and will contribute to supporting the road network in the region, which exceeds 7,600 km in length. He affirmed the continued efforts of the transport and logistics services system, represented by the Public Authority for Roads, to elevate the road network, which is one of the most important national enablers supporting the achievement of the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Services Strategy, and to establish the Kingdom's position as a global logistics hub in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
