دعت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني إلى أخذ الحيطة والحذر، وضرورة البقاء في أماكن آمنة والابتعاد عن أماكن تجمع السيول والأودية وعدم السباحة فيها، والالتزام بالتعليمات المعلنة عبر وسائل الإعلام المختلفة ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وذلك لاستمرار هطول الأمطار الرعدية على معظم مناطق المملكة حتى (السبت) القادم.
وأوضح مركز الأرصاد أن منطقة مكة المكرمة ستتأثر بأمطار من متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وتساقط البرد، إلى جانب رياح هابطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، تشمل العاصمة المقدسة والكامل والجموم وبحرة والطائف وميسان وأضم والعرضيات، فيما تشهد الليث والقنفذة أمطاراً خفيفة إلى متوسطة.
وأشار المركز إلى تأثر مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة بأمطار من متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وتساقط البرد ورياح هابطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، فيما تشهد مناطق المدينة المنورة وحائل وتبوك والجوف والحدود الشمالية أمطاراً خفيفة إلى متوسطة.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called for caution and the necessity to stay in safe places, to avoid areas where floods and valleys gather, and not to swim in them, as well as to adhere to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media, due to the continued thunderstorm rains affecting most areas of the Kingdom until next (Saturday).
The Meteorological Center clarified that the Makkah region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to the flow of torrents and hail, along with descending winds that stir up dust and sand, affecting the holy capital, Al-Kamil, Al-Jumum, Bahra, Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat. Meanwhile, Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah will experience light to moderate rains.
The center indicated that the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to the flow of torrents and hail, as well as descending winds that stir up dust and sand, while the regions of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders will witness light to moderate rains.
