أعلنت الهيئة العامة للنقل تمديد العمل بالقرار المتعلق بالعمر التشغيلي للشاحنات في أنشطة النقل الثقيل للبضائع لمدة 6 أشهر إضافية، حتى 26 مارس 2027، بما يدعم كفاءة الاستفادة من الأصول التشغيلية، ويمنح منشآت النقل الثقيل مرونة أكبر في إدارة أساطيلها.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن التمديد يشمل استمرار السماح بتجاوز العمر التشغيلي للمركبة المنفردة أو القاطرة المستخدمة في أنشطة النقل الثقيل للبضائع لأغراض تجارية، سواء للنقل للغير أو لصالح المنشأة، على ألا يتجاوز عمرها التشغيلي 22 سنة من تاريخ الصنع.
وبيّنت أن استمرار العمل بالقرار يسهم في تعظيم الاستفادة من الطاقة التشغيلية للأسطول القائم والمحافظة على جاهزيته، مؤكدة أن الاستفادة من التمديد مشروطة بالالتزام بجميع المتطلبات النظامية والفنية، بما يضمن سلامة المركبات واستيفاءها للمتطلبات المعتمدة.
The General Transport Authority announced the extension of the decision related to the operational age of trucks in heavy goods transport activities for an additional 6 months, until March 26, 2027, to support the efficient utilization of operational assets and provide heavy transport establishments with greater flexibility in managing their fleets.
The authority clarified that the extension includes the continued allowance for exceeding the operational age of the single vehicle or tractor used in heavy goods transport activities for commercial purposes, whether for transporting goods for others or for the benefit of the establishment, provided that its operational age does not exceed 22 years from the date of manufacture.
It indicated that the continuation of the decision contributes to maximizing the benefit from the operational capacity of the existing fleet and maintaining its readiness, emphasizing that the benefit from the extension is conditional upon compliance with all regulatory and technical requirements, ensuring the safety of the vehicles and their compliance with the approved requirements.
