تواصل الهيئة العامة للعناية بشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، مع ارتفاع درجات الحرارة، تشغيل منظومة متكاملة من الحلول الهندسية والتقنيات الحديثة لتهيئة أجواء معتدلة ومريحة لقاصدي الحرمين الشريفين. وتشمل المنظومة مراوح الرذاذ في الساحات الخارجية لتلطيف الأجواء، إلى جانب أرضيات الساحات المصنوعة من رخام «التاسوس»، الذي يسهم في الحد من امتصاص الحرارة وتخفيف أثر أشعة الشمس.
وفي المسجد الحرام، تبلغ الطاقة الإجمالية لمنظومة التبريد نحو 155 ألف طن تبريد، وتعمل على توزيع الهواء المبرد بدرجات تتراوح بين 22 و24 درجة مئوية على مدار اليوم.
وفي المسجد النبوي، تعمل محطة تبريد مركزية تضم 6 وحدات، بطاقة 3,400 طن تبريد لكل وحدة، بما يضمن توزيع الهواء المبرد بكفاءة، ضمن منظومة متكاملة تشمل المراقبة والتحكم والصيانة الوقائية.
The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques continues, with rising temperatures, to operate a comprehensive system of engineering solutions and modern technologies to create a moderate and comfortable atmosphere for the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques. The system includes mist fans in the outdoor areas to cool the environment, in addition to the flooring of the courtyards made of "Thassos" marble, which helps reduce heat absorption and mitigate the impact of sunlight.
In the Grand Mosque, the total capacity of the cooling system is about 155,000 tons of refrigeration, and it distributes cooled air at temperatures ranging between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius throughout the day.
In the Prophet's Mosque, a central cooling station operates with 6 units, each with a capacity of 3,400 tons of refrigeration, ensuring efficient distribution of cooled air, as part of a comprehensive system that includes monitoring, control, and preventive maintenance.
