أصدر وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للنقل المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر قرارين بتمديد عدد من المُهل التنظيمية الممنوحة لمنشآت النقل البري على الطرق العاملة في أنشطة النقل الثقيل والخفيف للبضائع لأغراض تجارية وغير تجارية، والنقل الخاص للركاب بالحافلات، وذلك حتى 27 فبرايرمن العام القادم 2027؛ بهدف تمكين المنشآت من استكمال تصحيح أوضاعها واستيفاء متطلبات اللوائح التنفيذية المنظمة لهذه الأنشطة.
وتضمن القرار الأول تمديد المهلة الممنوحة لمنشآت النقل الخاص للركاب بالحافلات لاستكمال إضافة مسميات الأنشطة المستحدثة إلى سجلاتها التجارية، بوصفها أحد متطلبات الحصول على الترخيص، إلى جانب تمديد المهلة المحددة لمواءمة أوضاعها مع المتطلبات التنظيمية وفق أحكام نظام النقل البري على الطرق ولائحته التنفيذية.
وشمل القرار الثاني تمديد المهل الممنوحة لمنشآت النقل الثقيل للبضائع لأغراض تجارية وغير تجارية؛ لاستيفاء عدد من المتطلبات التنظيمية، من بينها تعديل نوع التسجيل من «نقل خاص» إلى «نقل عام»، وإصدار بطاقات التشغيل للمركبات، كما شمل منشآت النقل الخفيف للبضائع لأغراض تجارية وغير تجارية، لاستكمال إصدار بطاقات «السائق المهني» وتصحيح أوضاعها وفق اللائحة التنفيذية المنظمة للنشاط.
وتتيح القرارات للمنشآت المشمولة وقتًا إضافيًا لاستكمال إجراءاتها النظامية ومواءمة أوضاعها مع أحكام نظام النقل البري على الطرق ولوائحه التنفيذية، بما يعزز امتثالها للمتطلبات التنظيمية، ويضمن استمرارية ممارسة أنشطتها وفق الأطر النظامية المعتمدة.
The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Transport Authority, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, issued two decisions to extend several regulatory deadlines granted to road transport establishments engaged in heavy and light goods transport for commercial and non-commercial purposes, as well as private passenger transport by buses, until February 27 of the upcoming year 2027; with the aim of enabling these establishments to complete the correction of their situations and meet the requirements of the executive regulations governing these activities.
The first decision included extending the deadline granted to private passenger transport establishments by buses to complete the addition of newly introduced activity names to their commercial records, as this is one of the requirements for obtaining a license, in addition to extending the deadline set for aligning their situations with regulatory requirements according to the provisions of the Road Transport System and its executive regulations.
The second decision included extending the deadlines granted to heavy goods transport establishments for commercial and non-commercial purposes; to meet several regulatory requirements, including changing the registration type from "Private Transport" to "Public Transport," and issuing operating cards for vehicles. It also included light goods transport establishments for commercial and non-commercial purposes, to complete the issuance of "Professional Driver" cards and correct their situations according to the executive regulation governing the activity.
The decisions provide the covered establishments with additional time to complete their regulatory procedures and align their situations with the provisions of the Road Transport System and its executive regulations, thereby enhancing their compliance with regulatory requirements and ensuring the continuity of their activities within the approved regulatory frameworks.
