صرّح المتحدث باسم قوات التحالف «تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن» اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، بأن تصعيد المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية ومحاولات استهداف المملكة ومقدراتها الوطنية ومواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها تصعيد خطير، يؤكد النهج العدائي وغير المسؤول لهذه المليشيا الإرهابية.
وأوضح اللواء المالكي، أن اعتداءات المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية العبثية، والتي كان آخرها استهداف أعيان مدنية واقتصادية في مدن (أبها، خميس مشيط، جازان، نجران)، ونتج عنها إصابة عدد (73) من المدنيين بينهم نساء وأطفال، تعد انتهاكًا سافرًا لسيادة المملكة وتهديدًا مباشرًا لأمن وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، وأن هذه الاعتداءات الآثمة وغير المبررة التي ارتكبتها المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية تتعمد الإضرار بمقدرات المملكة الوطنية والمنشآت والأعيان المدنية، كما تؤكد سلوكها الإجرامي المتطرّف الرافض لتحقيق السلام والاستقرار في اليمن وجواره العربي والإسلامي.
وأكد اللواء المالكي، أن قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف ستتخذ كافة الإجراءات العملياتية اللازمة لردع هذه المليشيا الإرهابية، ومواجهة نهجها العدائي بكل حزم، وذلك دفاعًا عن سيادة المملكة وصونًا لمقدراتها الوطنية وحفاظًا على سلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، كما أنها ستتخذ جميع التدابير والإجراءات اللازمة للرد على مصادر التهديد وتحييد خطرها.
The spokesman for the coalition forces, "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the escalation by the terrorist Houthi militia and attempts to target the Kingdom, its national capabilities, its citizens, and residents on its territory is a serious escalation that confirms the hostile and irresponsible approach of this terrorist militia.
Major General Al-Maliki explained that the reckless attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia, the latest of which targeted civilian and economic sites in the cities of (Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, Najran), resulted in the injury of (73) civilians, including women and children. These attacks represent a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a direct threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory. He emphasized that these heinous and unjustifiable attacks committed by the terrorist Houthi militia deliberately harm the Kingdom's national capabilities and civil facilities and sites, further confirming its extremist criminal behavior that rejects achieving peace and stability in Yemen and its Arab and Islamic neighbors.
Major General Al-Maliki affirmed that the leadership of the coalition's joint forces will take all necessary operational measures to deter this terrorist militia and confront its hostile approach with firmness, in defense of the Kingdom's sovereignty, preservation of its national capabilities, and safeguarding the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory. He also stated that all necessary measures and actions will be taken to respond to the sources of the threat and neutralize its danger.
