سجل هدفَي ريال مدريد كيليان إمبابي وفيديريكو فالفيردي في الدقيقتين (14) و(23)، فيما قلص كارلوس أوغستو الفارق لإنتر ميلان في الدقيقة (77).
وبهذه النتيجة، حصد ريال مدريد أول ثلاث نقاط في مشواره بالبطولة، فيما تلقى إنتر ميلان خسارته الأولى هذا الموسم بعد ثلاثة انتصارات متتالية في الدوري الإيطالي.
