نفّذ مختبر صحة البيئة وسلامة الغذاء بأمانة منطقة نجران، خلال شهر يوليو الماضي، سلسلة من الإجراءات الرقابية والتحاليل المخبرية المكثفة للكشف على الأغذية والمياه ومسببات التلوث الغذائي، وذلك ضمن خطة الأمانة الشاملة لضمان سلامة وجودة المنتجات المقدمة للمستهلكين وتطبيق أعلى معايير الوقاية الصحية بالمنطقة.
وبلغ عدد الفحوصات المخبرية لشهر يوليو لعام 2026، 675 عينة متنوعة، شملت فحص 310 عينات غذائية، و275 عينة من الخضار والفواكه بواقع 177 عينة من الخضار و98 عينة من الفواكه، إضافة إلى فحص 90 عينة من المياه.
وتأتي هذه الفحوصات بالتكامل مع الجهود الميدانية المستمرة للأمانة، التي تضمنت تنفيذ أكثر من 2,700 زيارة رقابية شهرية للمنشآت الغذائية، وفحص ما يزيد على 4,000 عينة تراكمية على مدار الفترات الماضية، إذ يؤدي المختبر دوراً محورياً في هذا الجانب عبر استخدام أجهزة وتقنيات دقيقة في كل من المختبر المركزي والمختبر المتنقل، مما يتيح سحب العينات وتحليلها فورياً، واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية حيال أي مخالفات تتعلّق بالاشتراطات الصحية.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم أمانة المنطقة عبدالله آل فاضل، أن أعمال الرقابة تشمل سحب عينات عشوائية من المطاعم، والمخابز، ومنافذ بيع الأغذية، إذ تُخضَع العينات لفحوصات متقدمة للكشف عن الملوثات الكيميائية والميكروبية، والتأكد من مطابقتها الكاملة للمعايير والمواصفات القياسية المعتمدة، لضمان امتثالها لمتطلبات السلامة والجودة، مؤكداً أن هذه الجهود المتواصلة تأتي في سياق حرص أمانة منطقة نجران على تعزيز منظومة الأمن الغذائي، وتطبيق أعلى معايير الجودة والصحة العامة، وتحقيق أعلى درجات الوقاية الصحية للمواطنين والمقيمين والزوار على حدٍّ سواء.
The Environmental Health and Food Safety Laboratory of the Najran Municipality implemented a series of regulatory procedures and intensive laboratory analyses during the past month of July to detect food, water, and food contamination causes. This was part of the municipality's comprehensive plan to ensure the safety and quality of products offered to consumers and to apply the highest health prevention standards in the region.
The number of laboratory tests conducted in July 2026 reached 675 diverse samples, including the examination of 310 food samples, 275 samples of vegetables and fruits, consisting of 177 vegetable samples and 98 fruit samples, in addition to testing 90 water samples.
These tests complement the ongoing field efforts of the municipality, which included more than 2,700 monthly regulatory visits to food establishments and the examination of over 4,000 cumulative samples over previous periods. The laboratory plays a pivotal role in this aspect by using precise devices and technologies in both the central laboratory and the mobile laboratory, allowing for immediate sampling and analysis, as well as taking legal action regarding any violations related to health requirements.
The spokesperson for the municipality, Abdullah Al-Fadhil, clarified that the monitoring activities include taking random samples from restaurants, bakeries, and food sales outlets. The samples undergo advanced tests to detect chemical and microbial contaminants and to ensure their full compliance with the approved standards and specifications, guaranteeing their adherence to safety and quality requirements. He emphasized that these continuous efforts are part of the Najran Municipality's commitment to enhancing the food security system, applying the highest standards of quality and public health, and achieving the highest levels of health protection for citizens, residents, and visitors alike.
