من أعمق مناطق جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة، حيث تتصاعد الأصوات بآيات الذكر الحكيم في مراكز تحفيظ متواضعة، انطلقت قصة بطلها التنزاني حسن سليمان عمر مدير المركز القرآني، الذي وجد نفسه في أطهر بقاع الأرض، مرافقاً لابنته التي تخوض غمار المنافسة في الدورة السادسة والأربعين لمسابقة الملك عبدالعزيز الدولية لحفظ القرآن الكريم وتلاوته وتفسيره، التي تنظمها وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد في رحاب مكة المكرمة.
ويروي حسن مشاعر تلك اللحظات الفارقة قائلًا: «تلقينا الخبر بشوق وفرحة وسعادة غامرة جداً؛ ولم تقتصر الفرحة على الأب والأم فحسب، بل غمرت العائلة بأكملها عندما علمت أننا سنركب الطائرة قاصدين البلد الحرام ومكة المكرمة، بل إن تنزانيا بأكملها فرحت لهذا النبأ».
ولم تتوقف مشاعر البهجة عند حدود الأسرة، بل امتدت لتلامس قلوب الشعب التنزاني أجمع؛ إذ وثّق مقطع فيديو لحظة وصولهم واستقرارهم في الفندق القريب من المسجد الحرام، ليتناقل في تنزانيا على نطاق واسع، عاكساً حجم الامتنان لحفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة في المملكة العربية السعودية.
وخلف هذه المشاركة المتميزة، تقف مسيرة عطاء وكفاح يقودها حسن من خلال إدارته لمركز قرآني يضم تحت مظلته نحو ثلاث مائة طالب وطالبة، يتوزعون على حلقات حفظ القرآن الكريم بمختلف أجزائه، وعلى الرغم من أن هذه هي المشاركة الأولى لفتيات مركزه في هذا المحفل الدولي الكبير، بعد أن كان الحضور مقتصراً في السابق على الفتيان، إلا أن التجربة أحدثت تحولًا جذرياً في تطلعاته المستقبلية.
In one of the deepest areas of the United Republic of Tanzania, where the sounds of the Holy Quran rise in modest memorization centers, the story of its Tanzanian hero, Hassan Suleiman Omar, the director of the Quranic center, began. He found himself in the purest places on earth, accompanying his daughter who is competing in the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance in the sacred city of Mecca.
Hassan recounts the feelings of those pivotal moments, saying: "We received the news with great eagerness, joy, and overwhelming happiness; the joy was not limited to just the father and mother, but it filled the entire family when they learned that we would be boarding the plane heading to the sacred land and Mecca. In fact, all of Tanzania rejoiced at this news."
The feelings of joy did not stop at the family level; they extended to touch the hearts of the entire Tanzanian people. A video captured the moment of their arrival and settling in the hotel near the Grand Mosque, which was widely shared in Tanzania, reflecting the gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Behind this distinguished participation stands a journey of giving and struggle led by Hassan through his management of a Quranic center that encompasses around three hundred male and female students, who are divided into groups memorizing different parts of the Holy Quran. Although this is the first participation of the girls from his center in this grand international event, after the previous attendance was limited to boys, the experience has brought about a radical transformation in his future aspirations.
