كشفت النسخة الخامسة من تقرير «إنترنت السعودية»، الصادر عن هيئة الاتصالات والفضاء والتقنية، نمواً متسارعاً في تبنّي أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي بالمملكة، إذ بلغت نسبة استخدامها بين مستخدمي الإنترنت 45.2%، بأكثر من ضعف المستوى المسجل في العام السابق، بالتزامن مع إطلاق المملكة «عام الذكاء الاصطناعي 2026».
وأظهر التقرير تفاوتاً في معدلات الاستخدام بين الفئات، إذ تصدرت الإناث بنسبة 52.8%، مقابل 39.4% للذكور، فيما جاءت الفئة العمرية من 20 إلى 29 عاماً في المقدمة بنسبة 55.7%، تلتها الفئة من 10 إلى 19 عاماً بنسبة 53.4%، قبل أن تتراجع النسبة تدريجياً مع التقدم في العمر، لتبلغ 27.4% لدى الفئة من 50 إلى 59 عاماً، و14.8% لدى الفئة من 60 إلى 74 عاماً.
وعلى مستوى المناطق، تصدرت تبوك معدلات استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي بنسبة 58.5%، تلتها المنطقة الشرقية بـ53.8%، فيما سجلت جازان أدنى نسبة عند 30.7%.
وتصدّر البحث عن المعلومات أوجه استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي بنسبة 80.8%، يليه توليد الأفكار بـ40.1%، ثم الدراسة والتعليم بـ37.7%، وإنشاء الصور والفيديو والعروض التقديمية بـ25.7%، والترجمة اللغوية بـ25.1%، فيما بلغت نسبة استخدامها في المهمات المتعلقة بالعمل 17.3%.
وجاء تطبيق ChatGPT في صدارة تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي الأكثر تحميلاً في المملكة، يليه Google Gemini ثم DeepSeek، فيما ضمت القائمة المنصة الوطنية HUMAIN.
وبالتوازي مع تنامي استخدام تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، أظهر التقرير تقلص الفجوة الرقمية بين كبار السن، إذ ارتفعت نسبة انتشار استخدام الإنترنت لدى الفئة العمرية من 60 إلى 74 عاماً من 88.9% في عام 2024، إلى 92.8% في عام 2025، بزيادة 3.9 نقطة مئوية خلال عام واحد.
The fifth edition of the "Internet in Saudi Arabia" report, issued by the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, revealed a rapid growth in the adoption of artificial intelligence tools in the Kingdom, with a usage rate among internet users reaching 45.2%, more than double the level recorded in the previous year, coinciding with the Kingdom's launch of the "Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026."
The report showed a disparity in usage rates among different demographics, with females leading at 52.8%, compared to 39.4% for males. The age group of 20 to 29 years topped the list with a rate of 55.7%, followed by the group aged 10 to 19 years at 53.4%, before the percentage gradually declined with age, reaching 27.4% for the 50 to 59 age group and 14.8% for those aged 60 to 74 years.
Regionally, Tabuk topped the usage rates of artificial intelligence tools at 58.5%, followed by the Eastern Province at 53.8%, while Jazan recorded the lowest rate at 30.7%.
Searching for information was the most common use of artificial intelligence tools at 80.8%, followed by idea generation at 40.1%, then study and education at 37.7%, creating images, videos, and presentations at 25.7%, and language translation at 25.1%, while the usage rate for work-related tasks was 17.3%.
ChatGPT ranked as the most downloaded artificial intelligence application in the Kingdom, followed by Google Gemini and DeepSeek, while the national platform HUMAIN was also included in the list.
Alongside the growing use of artificial intelligence technologies, the report showed a reduction in the digital divide among the elderly, as the internet usage rate among those aged 60 to 74 rose from 88.9% in 2024 to 92.8% in 2025, an increase of 3.9 percentage points within a year.
