دان الاتحاد الأوروبي بشدة الهجمات التي نفذتها ميليشيا الحوثي واستهدفت منطقة نجران في المملكة العربية السعودية، إلى جانب هجمات أخرى طالت مرافق وبنية تحتية مدنية في مدينة مأرب اليمنية، معتبراً استهداف المدنيين والمنشآت المدنية تصعيداً خطيراً يجب أن يتوقف فوراً.
وأكد المتحدث باسم الاتحاد الأوروبي، في بيان صدر في بروكسل، تضامن الاتحاد الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية والحكومة اليمنية، مشدداً على أن استهداف المدنيين والبنية التحتية المدنية أمر غير مقبول.
وحذّر الاتحاد من أن هذه الهجمات من شأنها تقويض الاستقرار الإقليمي، وتهديد الجهود الرامية إلى التوصل إلى حل سلمي للنزاع في اليمن.

The Union warned that these attacks could undermine regional stability and threaten efforts aimed at reaching a peaceful solution to the conflict in Yemen.
