ألزمت وزارة السياحة المستثمرين في قطاع المخيمات بتوفير حقائب إسعافات أولية وجهاز صدمات القلب، و إعفاء المخيمات الصغيرة (تقل طاقتها عن 50 سريراً) من توفير جهاز الصدمة، وعرّفت السياحة «المخيمات» بأنها تشمل الخيام، الكرفانات والمنازل المتنقلة في بيئات طبيعية، ووضعت في هذا السياق معايير ودرجات لابد من اجتيازها للحصول على التصنيف كدرجة أولى أو اقتصادية. وتلزم القواعد الجديدة عزل المخيمات التخييم بأسوار و حواجز صديقة للبيئة، و توفير خيارات الدفع غير النقدي عبر البطاقات المصرفية، وإلزام المخيمات طبقاً لتصنيفها بتوفير مطعم يقدم ثلاث وجبات يومياً، أو وجبتين، وتخصيص مواقف للسيارات، مع توفير خدمات خاصة لذوي الإعاقة، ومنعت القواعد التي اعتمدتها وزارة السياحة تخزين أو استخدام النفايات الخطرة أو السامة و صيد الحيوانات البرية أو إطعامها أو استغلالها للترفيه، وحثت الوزارة المستثمرين استخدام أدوات لترشيد المياه مثبتة على كل صنبور وشطاف، واطلاع الضيف على تدابير حماية البيئة ومنع التلوث المباشر أو غير المباشر للمياه السطحية والجوفية، والتخلص الآمن من النفايات الصحية و الصناعية و المنزلية، و يجب أن تتراوح درجة الحرارة في المخيم المشغول بين 20 و22 درجة مئوية، وفي الوحدة غير المشغولة، بين 26 و27 درجة مئوية، وتوفير قائمة الأسعار في منطقة الاستقبال باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، ويلتزم المستثمرون بوضع علامات إرشادية على جميع الخدمات والمرافق داخل منطقة المخيم، مما يضمن سهولة التنقل للضيوف و تشجيع استخدام المواد المستدامة.
The Ministry of Tourism has mandated investors in the camping sector to provide first aid kits and a defibrillator, exempting small camps (with a capacity of less than 50 beds) from providing the defibrillator. The ministry defined "camps" as including tents, caravans, and mobile homes in natural environments, and established standards and grades that must be met to obtain classification as first class or economic. The new regulations require camping sites to be enclosed with environmentally friendly fences and barriers, provide non-cash payment options via bank cards, and require camps, according to their classification, to offer a restaurant serving three meals daily or two meals, as well as designated parking spaces, with special services for people with disabilities. The regulations adopted by the Ministry of Tourism prohibit the storage or use of hazardous or toxic waste, hunting or feeding wild animals, or exploiting them for entertainment. The ministry urged investors to use water-saving devices installed on every tap and bidet, inform guests about environmental protection measures, and prevent direct or indirect pollution of surface and groundwater, as well as the safe disposal of health, industrial, and household waste. The temperature in occupied camps must range between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius, and in unoccupied units, between 26 and 27 degrees Celsius. Price lists must be provided in the reception area in both Arabic and English, and investors are required to place directional signs for all services and facilities within the camp area, ensuring ease of movement for guests and encouraging the use of sustainable materials.
