ضمن الجهود الإنسانية التي تبذلها المملكة عبر مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، واصل المركز تنفيذ مشروع تشغيل بنك الدم الوطني في مدينة مقديشو بجمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية، إذ قدّم البنك خدماته خلال شهر يونيو 2026 لـ229 مستفيداً، شكّل الذكور منهم نسبة 54% والإناث 46%. كما بلغت نسبة النازحين من إجمالي المستفيدين 9% مقابل 91% من المقيمين.
ويأتي هذا المشروع امتداداً للدور الإغاثي والإنساني الذي تقدمه المملكة لمساندة المحتاجين والمتضررين حول العالم، وتعزيز الخدمات الصحية الأساسية في الدول الأكثر احتياجاً، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة ورفع مستوى الرعاية الطبية المقدمة لهم.
As part of the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Kingdom through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the center continued to implement the project to operate the National Blood Bank in Mogadishu, Federal Republic of Somalia. During June 2026, the bank provided its services to 229 beneficiaries, of whom 54% were male and 46% were female. The percentage of displaced individuals among the total beneficiaries was 9%, compared to 91% who were residents.
This project comes as an extension of the relief and humanitarian role that the Kingdom provides to support those in need and the affected around the world, and to enhance basic health services in the most needy countries, contributing to improving the quality of life and raising the level of medical care provided to them.
