استقبل قسم الطوارئ في مستشفى دلّه الخبر مريضاً يبلغ من العمر 51 عاماً، إثر تعرضه لحادثة مرورية أثناء قيادته دراجة نارية؛ إذ اصطدمت به مركبة من الخلف، ما أدى إلى سقوطه وتعرضه لإصابات متعددة.

The emergency department at Dallah Hospital in Al-Khobar received a 51-year-old patient who was involved in a traffic accident while riding a motorcycle; he was struck from behind by a vehicle, leading to his fall and multiple injuries.
The patient arrived at the hospital suffering from severe chest and back pain, and clinical examinations and X-rays revealed multiple fractures in the right ribs, accompanied by a lung contusion, air leakage, and minor bleeding in the chest, in addition to an explosive fracture in one of the thoracic vertebrae, in an area already weakened due to a chronic medical condition.
The case was managed by a multidisciplinary medical team that included orthopedic surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, intensive care, and interventional radiology, where necessary emergency care was provided, pain was controlled, and a comprehensive treatment plan was established.
