أظهر استطلاع للمركز الوطني لاستطلاعات الرأي العام «رأي» التابع لمركز الملك عبدالعزيز للتواصل الحضاري أن 53% من السعوديين فضلوا قضاء صباح أول أيام عيد الفطر مع أسرهم الصغيرة، في مقابل 40% يقضونه ضمن تجمعات العائلة الكبيرة، بحسب تقديرات نتائج الاستطلاع.
وبيّنت النتائج أن 5% من المشاركين يرتبطون بالعمل خلال صباح العيد، بينما قال 1% إنهم يفضلون النوم للحفاظ على نظامهم اليومي. وفيما يتعلق بنمط الاحتفال الأوسع، أكد 88% أنهم يحرصون على المشاركة في تجمعات عائلية تشمل الأقارب، ما يعكس حضور الروابط الاجتماعية بقوة في المناسبة.
كما أشار الاستطلاع إلى أن 8% يتجهون للمشاركة في الفعاليات المحلية داخل مدنهم، مقابل 1% يحضرون فعاليات في مدن أخرى، و1% يفضلون السفر خارج المملكة خلال فترة العيد.
وتعكس هذه النتائج توازنًا بين الخصوصية الأسرية واستمرار تقاليد اللقاءات العائلية في المجتمع السعودي.

A survey conducted by the National Center for Public Opinion Polls "Rai," affiliated with the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, showed that 53% of Saudis preferred to spend the morning of the first day of Eid al-Fitr with their immediate families, compared to 40% who spend it with large family gatherings, according to the survey results.
The results indicated that 5% of participants are tied to work during the morning of Eid, while 1% said they prefer to sleep to maintain their daily routine. Regarding the broader celebration pattern, 88% confirmed that they are keen to participate in family gatherings that include relatives, reflecting the strong presence of social ties during the occasion.
The survey also indicated that 8% are inclined to participate in local events within their cities, compared to 1% who attend events in other cities, and 1% prefer to travel outside the Kingdom during the Eid period.
These results reflect a balance between family privacy and the continuation of family gathering traditions in Saudi society.
