توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس هذا اليوم (الجمعة) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وزخات من البرد تسبق برياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار قد تؤدي إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من مناطق الباحة، مكة المكرمة، المدينة المنورة، الرياض، القصيم، حائل، الحدود الشمالية، والشرقية في حين تكون خفيفة على أجزاء من مناطق الجوف، تبوك، عسير، وجازان.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر، شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 15-35 كم/ساعة، تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة، مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف، يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج، يصل إلى مائج.
وستكون الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي، شمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية، تتحول ليلًا شرقية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 12-30 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather conditions today (Friday) moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods and hail showers, preceded by active winds stirring dust and sand that may lead to nearly zero visibility in parts of the regions of Al-Baha, Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, the Northern Borders, and the Eastern region, while it will be light in parts of the regions of Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Asir, and Jazan.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at a speed of 15-35 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h, with thunderstorm clouds forming in the central and southern parts, and wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching over two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the central and southern parts, with the sea condition being light to moderate, becoming rough.
The surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly, shifting at night to easterly to southeasterly at a speed of 12-30 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition being light to moderate.
